Ribbed Toddler Winter Set

This is the set that I created for my son, Alexander, in the Fall of 2003. The entire set takes 4 balls of Bernat DenimStyles yarn, and the tweeded effect with the ribbed stitches really set these items off from the rest.

Ribbed Toddler Hat with Ear Flaps and Brim - Well last year's infant is this year's toddler, and this is the first keep-warm creation I have made for him this winter! It's crocheted using Bernat DenimStyles yarn which is a worsted weight acrylic/cotton blend. It's sized to fit approximately an 18 month old.

Ribbed Toddler Mittens - These cuties complement the hat above and include an optional string to make it easier to drag them on the ground -- what child actually keeps their mittens on?

Ribbed Toddler Scarf - The finishing touch for the well-dressed toddler. This double-thick, double-quick scarf has a self-fringe to make it both warm and adorable. It's sure to keep the winter chill away from those little necks of theirs!
