I have designed several winter hats for infants and toddlers, and now have a collection of "bucket" hats for all ages.

Adult "Bucket" Hat - This versatile hat is crafted in worsted weight cotton yarn for comfort and breathability. It is sized to fit most adults {head sizes 22-25"} and has an optional ribbon banding for ladies.

Ribbed Toddler Hat with Ear Flaps and Brim - Well last year's infant is this year's toddler, and this is the first keep-warm creation I have made for him this winter! It's crocheted using Bernat DenimStyles yarn which is a worsted weight acrylic/cotton blend. It's sized to fit approximately an 18 month old.

Infant Hat and Mitten Set - Sized for a 6 month old, it's a perfect shower gift for the new baby. The hat features ear flaps to keep those little ears nice and toasty warm and the mittens are thumbless for ease and convenience of baby and parents both. Instructions are also included for an optional string to attach them. The patterns call for worsted weight cotton for ease of care and comfort while not sacrificing warmth, but the picture here shows a version done in acrylic yarn. There is a picture of the hat done in cotton here.
