The above slideshow is intended to give you at least some idea of the work that goes into Nicole's Creations. The slideshow is made up of three parts:

1. Throwing a Mug - This segment shows Nicole taking a lump of clay and creating a mug from it. If you look closely, you will notice that the mug she creates and the mug she attaches the handle to are not the same one. This is because normally, a mug would have to dry for a little bit before a handle is attached to it; in the interest of time in taking the photographs, Nicole used a mug she had created earlier to demonstrate attaching a handle.

2. Glazing In Action - This segment shows Nicole glazing a small bowl, using two different glazes.

3. Loading The Kiln - This segment shows Nicole loading up the kiln with glazed pieces. These pieces were fired once already, when they were not yet glazed. This is called the bisque firing. Then, after they have been glazed, the pieces get fired again; this is called the glaze firing.
