What do I think about writing: I actually enjoy writing. I think writing is a great source of communication. For people like myself, it is easier to get
feelings out on paper, rather than speaking them out loud.
What do I want to get out of this class: I would like to get more knowledge on how to write
correctly. I would like to improve my
writing skills by using a stronger vocabulary and catching the reader’s
attention. I do believe I write pretty
well, but I also believe it needs a lot of polishing.
Some personal things about me: I am obviously a
freshman here at Pembroke. I used to
live on campus last semester and that was probably one of the worst experiences
of my life. Girls around here do not
know proper health habits. Luckily I
have met a wonderful guy named Josh who has been my boyfriend for some time
now. We both live together in an
apartment in Fayetteville. My life was
pretty hectic as a child. I was born in
California and moved from one place to another due to my father being in the
Military. My parents divorced when I
was 11 years old. They are now both
happily remarried to wonderful step-parents who I could not have asked for
better ones. I graduated from Southview
High School. Now here is where I am at
and I hope to succeed strongly later in life.
What my future plans are: I plan on leaving the
University of North Carolina at Pembroke and continuing my education further at
the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I plan to study to be a nurse anesthetist or to even study under health
administrations. I have always wanted
to work in the medical field and I believe this is where I will succeed. Charlotte is also the place I call home and
I think I will be much happier in that type of environment. Unfortunately, Pembroke is too slow and laid
back for me.
