My Review

Although the language may be intense and not as appropriate at times in
the Catcher in the Rye, the book was very interesting and very funny with
such a sarcastic tone. Despite the negative aspects of the book, it was
well written when trying to reach a purpose or a lesson. Many teenagers
can probably too relate to not wanting to grow up and being scared of your
future ahead. Although this book is about a teenager, almost anybody will
enjoy the sense of humor and the random thoughts throughout. Although not
a lot of dialogue is included, it's his fear of losing his innocence which
is the central theme. Right away you can see he doesn't want anybody to
lose their innocence, and he wants to help kids and save them from "falling",
or growing up.
