Blood red
Spills forth in drops
On the ground around me
Spills forth from my wrists
And I feel all pain.

I came to earth to help
To love
To save you all
And you crucified me.

But don't cry for me
It was God's will
So that you could be with me forever
Because I could not live without you.

As I hang here
Dying, limp, fighting for breath
Thinking of my life
And you, the ones I am dying for.

I look up to my Father in Heaven
My work here for now is done
But I will be back to save you
I promise.
