Judy was my first ever pet that I can remember, well except from birds and goldfish!
Judy was a springer spaniel that we got from a family friend when thier dog had pups, we got her at 8 weeks old and she was the Family pet, but it was me that begged for one and my uncle somehow persuaded my parents to get her!
Judy was the fmailys pet but we always had a special bond, myself and my big brother used to try and bribe her affection for treats to prove she liked us best! and I used to sit and talk to her for hours as a young girl.
Judy lived with my dad after my parents split up, and she lived a great life to the age of 14, so she had a good innings but age just got the better of her and she started to hurt so in 2001 she was laid to rest, a long standing family pet and friend to many.
I cried so much when you had to go puds, You were almost like my little furry sister! you had such character and were a mardy gitt at times! but after 14 years we knew your moods and left you to it, after all we all had bad days!
