I am happy that I can engage in the Shanghai's teaching tour. What I get is more than I lost. Although I lost the chance to get summer job for earning money and to go outside for playing, I get many things.

1. Friendship
Firstly, I get the most treasury friendship with the colleagues. On the first day of arriving Shanghai, I feel I am alone even thought there are 9 people are sitting with me. Time goes by, by supporting and encouraging each other. Whenever I meet difficulties and challenges, they help me to overcome it. Living together for a month, we know each other better and better. I discover their advantages. We share the most precious moment. We had breakfast and dinner, watched television programmes, everyday. Such life will only exist in family but never in school. We just live like a family. And I know that I am not alone anymore. We are together. I don't want to leave them.

2. Experience
Secondly, I get unforgettable experience. It is my first time leave my family, go to the other country. How would my life be without my friend's hands and my family's warmth? God gives me this chance to become more tough person. I learn how to take care of myself and how to take care of the others. Whenever I was weak, I feel tired. I asked myself to go on, not to give up, not to be afraid. Besides, I experienced what problems teacher always have to face such as how to build up the relationship with the students, how to control and maintain the class order, how to raise students?interest in the class, how to make the student devote to the class. At the begginning, I didn't know what should the relationship between me and the students because they are 17 years old. I am older than them 3 years, I cant be a very When a student doesn't?want to talk, does talk too much or doesn't listen to the instruction, what I can do is out of my control. So I learn to be a more flexible person, to take action instantly according to the situations. Such practical skill is really useful for our future, no matter what we are. And I know the role of teacher in a class is to correct students? mistakes and to encourage students. The class is not only engaged by either students or teacher but by both. If students talk too much, the teacher cant control the order and teach them efficiently. If teachers speak too much, students have no way to express their thoughts and to practise their english. I understand Shanghai students much more after one month of teaching. They are very passive. They always wanted to be led by teacher. If I said nothing, they also said nothing. Once I asked them question, they were not brave enough to answer. They were always waiting for teacher's answer. They have a wrong mind that there are only student and teacher in the class. They always forget classmates. When I ask them to prepare something and to present it, they always said ?Miss, I have finished. Let me present? They don't know they are presenting to their classmates but not only teacher. And they don't know that they should wait for the classmates who haven't finished the preparation. In fact, one of the most important thing students have to learn in school is mutual learning, that is to adopt the others' advatages and avoid their mistakes.

3. Shanghai's life
Besides, I know more about Shanghai. Shanghai is a very modern city. There are many beautiful buildings such as Oriental Pearl TV Tower . I also have visited some places such as  Shanghai Old Street, Yu Yuan Garden filled with the traditional features. There are many cheap delightful foods. I tasted such spicy food as sour spicy soup, once I drunk it, I felt there are bomb sparking in my throat. I enjoyed the dumplings cooked by my host family for breakfast. The entertainment life in Shanghai is so 'rich'?as that in Hong Kong. The nightlife there is not so popular. Normally at 10 olock p.m, there are not many people on the streets. Shanghaiese don't to go to Disco or karaoke very often . They would like to stay at home and watching television. In a month, I understand Shanghai people more. Culture life in Shanghai is richer that those in Hong Kong. There are many people go to the Shanghai Book Mall, bought a toll of books. They like to learn very much. The Shanghai Library, Shanghai Theatre, Shanghai Museum provide very good recreation and entertainment facilities for them. Apart from the big department stores, the commodities in Shanghai are very cheap. Books, compact discs, cassettes, foods are cheaper than those of Hong Kong. That's why I have bought many books and CDs. The weather is not so as worst as I imagined. The hottest day is about 35 celcius degree. But the air pollution there is very serious, I couldn't see the far view because the ash and dush covered the views.

I will treasure what i have get from this trip. I will cherish the friendship.
