20 April 2003

Kowloon International Baptist Church

Baptized by Pastor Harry Lucenay

Why did I ask for to be baptized?

For I ask Jesus Christ to be my Saviour, who has been nailed on the cross and cleansed my sin by his blood.

Before Baptism, I felt....

  • Nervous because it is a 'once in a life time' event.
  • Peaceful because I know Christ lives with me and Pastor prayed with me.

During Baptism

I feel it is my glory to have Jesus Christ leading my life. He is my Saviour.

After Baptism

I know I am reborn and am more determined to commit my life to  serve the Lord, to live and die for him.

"I am a new person." I bear it in my mind every second.

I am happy because the baptism was hold smoothly. Nobody or earthly force could thwart God's will and plan for me. Before my baptism, I knew I had to stand by for my work on my baptism day. I just knew the roster a few days before my baptism. I thought it was more likely to postpone my baptism. But praise the Lord, he listened to our prayers. I didn't receive any call from my department.

"If God be for us, who can be against us?" When God is in your side, nothing can move or hurt you.

THANKSGIVING:

To all my friends who have attended my baptism.

Thanks for your blessings, gifts and cards and flowers. Love you always!

To all my friends who didn't attend my baptism but have been praying for me vividly. I feel your love.

SHALOM, MY FRIEND!
