Trip to Qinyuan

During the semester break of the academic year 1999-2000, I joined a trip to Guanzhou and Qinyuan held by HKBU Golden Z Club.

Duration:
20/12-24/12/1999

Content of the Trip:

  • Visit the woman interest organization and mentally retarded school in Guanzhou
  • Visit the schools in Qinyuan funded by "Hope Programme" and to observe the study facilities and environment there.
  • Meet the students sponsered by us.
  • Take a tour of vacation and relaxe in Qinyuan and Guangzhou
  • Exchanged and gather with the Guangzhou university students.

Participants:

Hong Kong Baptist University students and the officials of the Committee of the Golden Z Club.
Totally 27 students.
Most of the participants are the Second year student.
 

After the Shanghai Trip, I was more interested in joining exchange tour. I found my interest in exploring the cultures of the other countries or cities.
My classmates and I, visited our sponsored student. We also had grass skating and hot spring. We played drama and introduced to the students about christmas--the birth of Jesus Christ.
It was so cold in Guangzhou and I didn't wear enough clothes. However, the students are really poor and didn't have any thick coat to protect themselves.
