exactly. local bands don't make records. at least they don't here in suburbia. we're those kids borne into technology. we make everything digital and easier. and if the oppurtunity arises that we can record our BAND in the garage, then "go for it!"[is that the chant from Requim For a Dream?].

you see, just me saying that get me all warm inside. every wanna-be punk has the dream of doing this *esp. if its growing because your band. thats double cool point*. so i just wanna make a compilation with my friends for the hell of it. i hear people around here like comp's, but i'd rather just get my hands on a demo at a show. not to mention getting on a compilation in the area could help you land shows better. i've just begun sending out CD's to local clubs, and its tricky. business type shit.

just thought i'd explain that pic on the Nicky Fuerte LP "compassionate fascism werks". you can thank Tom & Nik Batten for that title. They're trying to instigate situations from us supporting fascism. i laughed when Nik suggested it with serious tone. so it got my vote.
