Chorus Attendance Policy

For the success of the group, and to make the most of our limited rehearsal time, it is important that chorus members make every effort to attend ALL rehearsals.  For this reason, any student with 3 or more unexcused absences in a single semester may lose the privilege of participating in chorus.  Two "tardies" will be counted as one absence.  Students who are absent from school for the entire day are automatically excused.  Parents and guardians are asked to provide a signed note to explain any other absences.  Students with perfect attendance will be recognized with an award at the end of the year.  Thank you for your understanding.
