| Night of the Livng dead is a classic film and an amzing scarefest. Being the first film of its time night sends us into the realm of unknown and shock by first planting the idea in us...what if the dead rose and attacked the living? From the dark cemetery scene to the claustrophobia of the farmhouse to bens ultimate demise....we are constantly looking over our shoudlers and screaming in fear. this film jumpstarted george romeros career as well as the many zombie films to follow. before night, zombies were only used as slaves in earlier films such as white zombie. but george thought they had a more evil purpose to fulfill. they lurk around in the darkness in search for human flesh to devour...which is the thoguht that scared the fans who saw it at teh theatres to the young children who watch it today. Night is amazing film, proving two things. 1- That you dont need a big budget to get you point across and to scare the bejesus out of everyone. 2- That even the dead arent safe from the demented minds of fans and creators of horror films. night still remains the classic horror film and it is an amazing tale. It remains a favorite of mine and the thousands of fans who have seen it. Kermit. |
