“Kylie,” Nick yelled up the staircase.

“What Daddy?” Kylie replied as she emerged at the top of the staircase with a cordless telephone on her ear. “I’m on the phone.”

Gwen walked up beside her husband and said, “Cree is here. I just thought you would want to come down and say hi to your cousin.”

“Becca, I have to call you back...OK...bye.” Twelve year old Kylie Carter walked down the stairs, he blond hair bouncing around her shoulders and stood next to her parents. “Where is she?”

“I’m right here,” Cree replied. She had grown up, she was now 19 years old and a student at Berkley. “I guess you are stuck with me for a few days.”

“Hey, I have no problem with that...as long as we can go to campus...” Kylie replied mischeviously.

“No no no...there will be no going to campus, you will stay in the city...that means you too Cree unless you go to class. I will not have my baby...” Nick started to go off.

“Nicky...calm down, “ Gwen interjected.

“But Gwen, she is only 12 years old and I don’t think she should be -”

“Enough,” Gwen said as she looked at him with an amused look on her face before turning to the girls. “Creebug, you have all the numbers of where we will be, you know how to get in touch with us. I trust you 100% and I KNOW you won’t let Kylie try to pull a fast one on you.”

“You got it Auntie Gwen...we will be fine. You need to tell this idiot that.”

“Daddy’s not an idiot, he is just too overprotective, but he will get over it, me and Mama are working on him,” Kylie stated.

“If anything, I mean anything happens you call us...I mean anything Cree...” Nick bossily chimed in a very parental tone.

“Daddy, it will be fine. You and Mama go have fun...Cree and I will be fine,” Kylie had started working her magic on her father, she wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him as he melted in her embrace and placed a kiss on her forehead, “Bye Daddy, I love you.”

“I love you too, sugarbear.”

Gwen hugged Cree and her daughter and said final goodbyes as her and Nick got into the limo that was parked outside that would take them to the airport.

“I don’t understand what the big deal is about leaving, Daddy gets so freaked out about it everytime,” Kylie told Cree.

“He’s always been freaked out, your mom knows how to get him going...you are lucky she knows how to work him,” Cree replied.

The two girls smiled and walked back into the house on the hill in Sausilito and began planning the rest of their week.

Meanwhile, an old married couple sat in the back of a limosine, making out, on their way to relive their honey moon in St. Thomas at the beach house, for the third time that year.
