Chapter 58

Latham Landing was busy. Gwen and Nick had arrived in Dallas that morning and arrangements were being made for the reception. Tents had been set up all over the back portion of the estate and land had been cleared for the valets to park the vehicles of the 1000 or more visitors. Workers were everywhere. After dinner, the couple sat on the back patio watching the chaos around them as the sunset. Nick could not believe the spectacle that this was turning out to be, however Gwen knew that when her dad had said that he wanted to give her away and to have a real church wedding that this was to be expected. The past three days had consisted of countless bridal and couples showers, not to mention the respective bachelor and bachelorette parties that their friends had thrown for each of them. They had decided that they wanted both to be in New York, so that they could be together at the end of the night. But on this night, after all of the guests had left, Nick and Gwen were alone for the first time all day and both completely spent.

“I can’t believe that your mom is kicking me out and making me stay over at Max’s,” Nick said almost sadly.

“You aren’t supposed to see your bride the night before the wedding up until I walk down the aisle,” Gwen replied as she lightly brushed her hands over his arms that were wrapped around her waist. They were laying on a chaise lounge.

“This sucks, you already are my wife...not my bride...” Nick argued.

“Honey, we know that, and our parents and families know, but other than the guys, nobody else does, none of them even know I am pregnant. My bridesmaids are staying here tonight and I think that they may find it odd if you are in my bed and we were walking around with wedding bands on our fingers.”

Sighing inwardly, Nick glanced down at their intertwined fingers, noting that the familiar wedding bands were missing, “I know, but this just feels weird...I just don’t want to be without you.”

“So, think about it like this, you are not officially getting kicked out for a couple more hours, lets go do something,” Gwen said as she started getting up. She giggled as she looked down at her unmoving husband, “Lets pretend we aren’t married and go do something that young couples in love do...runaway with me, just for a little while.”

“Runaway with you? You have lost it...this wedding crap must be getting to you b/c you are losing your damn...”

Her lips cut him off. After the kiss, Gwen rested her forehead to Nick’s and said, “Can’t we have just a little fun? Are you in?”

“What do you have in mind?” Nick asked with a mischevious grin.

“Do you have the keys to the rental car?” Nick nodded, “Well, Mr. Carter, let’s blow this joint.”

Gwen got up and started walking towards the side of the house so that she could make her way to the drive where the cars were. She turned at looked at Nick, “Are you gonna just sit there or are we gonna have a little bit of fun here buddy?”

Nick shook his head and laughed under his breath as he stood and followed Gwen.

After listening to Gwen direct him through the streets of Dallas for a while, Nick started getting frustrated. So far, this hadn’t been fun, it had been more of a headache. He looked over at her as they were getting on the freeway and said, “So this is how we live a little and pretend to be young kids in love? I would much rather be having a pajama party w/ your brother.”

“Oh really?” she asked as she scooted closer to him on the seat. Speaking softly with her lips very near to his ear she asked, “If I tell you where to go will you remember?”

“You are hear, why do you need to tell me?” Nick asked, “OH...” he said as he felt her hand begin to roam around his belt buckle and she began placing kisses softly on his neck.

“Can you do it?” Gwen asked again as she started unbuckling his pants.

“Uh huh, I think so, hurry, tell me where to go,” Nick answered, his growing excitement apparent in both his voice and his pants.

“Well,” she licked his earlobe, “you are going to want to exit up here when you start seeing signs for the lake,” she unbuttoned his pants, “then, you will take a left and follow until you get to a secluded road,” she unzipped his pants as she began to reposition herself in the seat, “then, take a right and there will be a clearing near the woods with just enough room to pull the car in,” she began lowering his boxers, “and then...”

Abruptly, Nick interupted her, “I got it I got it...and then?”

“And then, RELAX...” she said as she began to stroke him up and down, she was practically laying across the seat.

“I am relaxed, see baby, this is me, RELAXING...I am so...OH GOD!” he said as he felt the warmth of her mouth surrounding him, “I can do this, I can do this.”

Gwen giggled slightly, which only made him more excited. He was losing control to soon and trying to keep himself focused on the road thru what sounded like a pep talk. She kept going, massaging and sucking thru every little movement, he was swerving. She was listening to the torture she was inflicting on the man that she loved. Suddenly, the car stopped and Nick jerked Gwen up, pushing her panties aside and mounting her on his erection and forcing her down on him, she didn’t even know what hit her and made a small noise. Coming to reality, “Are you ok, I didn’t hurt you did I? Or the baby?”

“Shhh, I am fine...” she said as she started moving on him slowly at first so she could adjust to the feeling of him inside of her, then at a more rapid pace. It didn’t take either of them long. Afterwards, Gwen removed herself from his lap and scooted over to her side of the seat and began straightening her clothes. Glancing over at Nick, she saw that he was sitting there, naked from the waist down with his head leaned back against the seat. She asked, “Are you ok?”

“WOW...” was all he said.

“WOW?” That’s it?” she laughed, then she began taking in her surroundings, she noticed lights and cars zooming by. “Where the hell are we anyway?”

Snapping back into it, Nick looked over at her and smiled, “We are on the side of the freeway.”
