"That is a good one, I may be a little sympathetic if I hadn't been watching you come and go for our entire relationship. This is something I need to do for me." "You have been just fine here, there are a million schools in Florida, why do you have to go to school in Texas?" "You know why I want to go...I want to do something on my own for once. I figured that you would be able to understand that if anyone could." "Yeah, I understand perfectly Britt," Nick screamed, "you don't want to be with me, you want to make it impossible." "How would it be any different than it is now? We are in different places all of the time because of your job." Nick got up from the sofa and walked over to her, "So that is how it is going to be...its all my fault." "No, Nicky, it isn't about that. Can't you see that this has nothing to do with you. I have stuck with you for three years when you have been all over the world. I want this for myself." "I think you are trying to get back at me for leaving you behind." "God Nick, don't be an asshole...get over yourself because I want to do this for me." "WHY?" "Why? How can you ask that? You know I have dreamed of going away to school ever since you met me. You are just jealous because I am getting to do something that you can't. We went thru this same shit all thru high school. You can't handle the fact that I get to experience things you don't." "Whatever Britt...you do this and it may be the end of us." "If that is how you feel you can just walk out the door," Britt said as tears started forming in her eyes, "Can't you see that I need this? We have made it thru harder times than this, just have a little faith in me." Seeing the tears in her eyes, Nick calmed down and wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, "I just don't know what I will do when you aren't here anymore." "Just because I am not in Tampa doesn't mean we won't see eachother, we have always worked it out. I will always be here for you, it doesn't matter whether or not I am in Florida." "Will this make you happy?" Nick asked, Britt nodded, "then I want you to do this." "Really?" Britt asked, suprise apparent in her voice. "Uh huh," Nick said as he picked up her face and looked into her blue eyes, "as long as you don't change. I need you to be the same girl I fell in love with."
