| Chapter 1: "Flight 2507 is now landing at Gate 8C." I heard the loudspeaker say. Finally! I've been waiting 8 long months to see them again. I walked closer to the gate as it opened. People rushed to greet their loved ones as I stood there hoping they didn't miss their flight.. My best friend Michelle lightly hit my arm and pointed at a tall, blonde guy walking towards me. "Paige! It is so good to see you! I've missed you so much!" Nick greeted me with a hug and a kiss on my forehead. "I've missed you too!" I exclaimed returning Nick's hug. "Where's the rest of the guys?" "They're coming. I left them behind because I was too excited to see you again!" he replied, smiling his world famous smile. Nick Carter is my best friend and a member of the Backstreet Boys. They just got back from touring in Europe and promoting of their new album. "There they are!" he yelled, breaking me from my thoughts. I looked over to see Brian, AJ, Kevin and Howie walking towards us. "Paige! I'm so glad you could make it!" Brian said, running up to me and giving me a big hug. Kevin and Howie did the same. I was missing a hug. I turned to my right to see Michelle in the arms of AJ. They have been dating for 9 months now and look very cute and happy together. "Alex! Where's MY hug!?" I whined. "Oh sorry. I wanted to say hi to my girl first." he replied, letting go of Michelle and he gave me a hug. "It's okay. I was just missing a hug! Well, we should go get your luggage now!" I remarked, letting go of AJ. "Don't worry. Our bodyguards got them and are bringing them to the limo. Speaking of limos, how about we head out now?" Kevin explained and pleaded. "Yeah sure Kevin. Hey Paige, are you going to ride with us or did you bring your own car?" Brian questioned me while walking towards the door. "I brought my own car but thanks for the offer. I'll just follow behind you guys." I answered. "Would you mind giving me a ride? I haven't seen you in eight months and we have a lot of catching up to do!" Nick slyly responded. I giggled and he smiled. "Sure." I replied. We all walked out of the airport. Nick and I went one way as the others went the other way. I unlocked the doors to my silver Acura SL. We hopped into the car and I started it. Once we were inside, Nick started fiddling with the radio dials in search for a rock station. I just sighed and leaned back. "Whats wrong? Is it the station? If it is than we can just-" Nick started reaching for the radio dials again. "No!" I interrupted him and grabbed his hand, letting go when he looked at me. "I'm just happy you are finally home. I missed you so much." I sighed again, glancing at Nick and then back at the road. Nick grabbed my hand, kissed it, and kept holding it. Inside I was smiling, not knowing why I felt this way about my best friend! I shook away my thoughts as we pulled up into AJ's driveway. I parked the car and got out, letting go of Nick's hand. I followed him into AJ's house and sat on the couch next to Nick where we were joined by the rest of the group and Michelle. "How about we watch a movie? Does American Pie sound good?" AJ suggested and everyone agreed. I laid back into Nick's arms, watched a couple minutes of the movie and fell asleep. Home + 02 |
