"Nikkie, I can't believe I let you talk me into this!!!" Jessica said as she and Nikkie carried their bags out to her mom's car.
"Jessi! You can't pass up this chance!! These are the five hottest guys on the planet!!!" Nikkie said as she placed her bags in the trunk.
"Ready, girls?" Mrs. Royale asked.
"Yes, mom."
"Have you got everything?"
"I think," Jessica said, rummaging around in her green back pack. "Wait!!!!" she cried, then ran upstairs. She saw her Journey's Greatest Hits CD on her dresser, and grabbed it. "OK i'm ready!" she said when she returned down stairs.

Jessica's mother dropped them at the airport. "Bye, girls! Have a good time!!" Mrs. Royale said.
"We will," Nikkie said.
"Not possible," Jessica muttered. Nikkie elbowed her, and they started toward their gate.

Christine saw the girls coming and hurried over. "Hi, Jessica, I'm Christine."
"Hi, Christine. This is my friend Nikkie Reed," Jessica said, immediately liking Christine's friendly manner.
"Hi, Nikkie. Well, girls shell we join the guys?"
"I guess," Jessica sighed as they started to the plane.
"You're not a fan, are you?" Christine asked.
"Huh?"
"I figured."
"No, I'm not a fan. I had signed up for the contest as a joke. I wasn't gonna come but Nikkie is a huge fan, and she talked me into it," Jessica said.
"Jessica-------"
"Call me Jessi, please."
"Jessi, if it makes you feel any better, the guys are really nice. They didn't think you were a fan either when we spoke on the phone," Christine said when they reached the plane.
"They were there?"
"Yes.. Now come get yourselves settled, we'll be taking off in aobut fifteen minutes."
"OK, where do i put my bags?" Jessica asked as she and Nikkie followed Christine onto the plane.
"I'll let one of the guys show you, ok?"
"OK."
Jessica, Nikkie, and Christine walked into a living room like area and saw four of the guys.

"Guys, I'd like you to meet Jessica and her friend Nikkie," Christine said. "And, girls, these guys are Nick, AJ, Kevin, and Howie. Brian will be here in a few."
There were a chorus of hellos, and AJ went to help Nikkie with her bags. Jessica started to follow.
"Hey, need some help?"
Jessica looked up to see a tall blonde standing before her. "Uh. sure."
Nick took two of her suit cases, and led her to the cargo hold.
"Thanks..............?" she said, uncertainly.
"Hi, I'm Nick. You're not a fan are you?" he said.
"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm........................ no i'm actually not," Jessica replied, looking at her feet.
"It's ok," Nick said, as they started to their seats.
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure," he said, his blue eyes twinkling. "If you don't like us, then what kind of music do you like?"
Her eyes lit up. "Journey, Nir-----------"
"Journey!?!" Nick exclaimed as he sat down beside Jessica and buckled his seat belt.
"Yeah, they are the best band of all time!! Why?"
"Journey is my favorite!!" He said.
"Cool, I like--------" Jessica started.
"HEELLLLLOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" someone yelled and peeked over the back of her seat.
