North Wales Coast Summertime magic.
Now the hot, sunny weather is here perhaps we should think back to glorious summer days on the North Wales Coast. Personally "the coast" will always be remembered for the procession of 40’s. The magic continued on the coast until the late 90’s with spells of class 20/31/37/47 to bash and even today 57’s working hauled trains. Rounding the long down curve at Colwyn Bay, the jn’s "buffet" and Chester echoing to a chattering 25 or whistling 40……
