Thanks to "Red Cow" for last weeks update, thanks also for recent contributions, comments and bumper hit rate….

Marylebone, 050909

Believed to be the first "Crompton" into Marylebone on a passenger rather than ECS working, 33207 arrives with 1Z37 Worksop-Marylebone. More phots of the Quianton mini tour to follow

Old Linslade "dip", 040909

92041 with 92030 dit look good as the haul 6X77 Enterprise North

Euston, 040909

90020 at the blocks with M16 "Royal Highlander". Credit to Network Rail and Scotrail for an ontime arrival despite the severe weather in the Aberdeen area.

Wolverton Works, 030909 thanks to Andrew Chambers

Pilot 08629 has recently been given a smart new livery as seen here dragging "pig" 2423. Andrew advises 08649 is also in the works paint shop.

Looking very smart 321404 and 401 prior to working the 1620 Huntingdon.

By Pass bridge, 010909 thanks to "Red Cow"

A cracking phot of our local top train, 56312 powers 4Z01 North in true grid style.

Ledburn Jn, 231101

Never seen many views of the Wolverton Works-Wembley ECS train, heres’s 86424 with a solitary DVT to return to Wembley

M.Keynes, 240198 thanks to Mark Beal

Green 37’s locally were very rare post the late 60’s. 37403 "Ben Cruachan" looks good powering the "Thames Valley Freighter" Railtour South

Old Linslade "Paddock" 311282

A noise bund now occupies the photter’s position as 86215 takes the Curzon St-Willesden "Vans" South

Local Gen Snippets

Sunday September 6th is, at the time of writing expecting to be a "no train day " on London Midland…

377’s return…At least 377207/210 were in service locally on Sat 0509 putting in their usual awesome accelaretion that makes a 350 resemble a 31’4!
