This piece is assembled from all sorts of objects and images, ranging from ancient maps to coins and clock components.

The circular forms represent various alien tribes that overtake the earth, linked by enormous continent straddling bridges.

Although it doesn't look like it, there is a great deal of painting blended in, and some objects, like the butterfly - the symbol for humanity - are entirely painted.

The small tan leaf towards the lower left blew in the door at my framer's on a blustery day, and blended in perfectly!
