The painting toured regional NSW, before traveling to Melbourne with the rest of the exhibition.
Nick met fellow artist Susan Watt (below left), who had painted author Doris Pilkington (Nugi Garimarra - above right). Doris wrote Follow The Rabbit Proof Fence upon which Phillip Noyce's film Rabbit Proof Fence was based.
