Ernabella Mural Project | ||||||||||
Ernabella is a remote Anangu community about 250 kms south of Uluru in central Australia. When I visited in '02, the principal at the local school asked me to paint a mural on one of the school's water tanks. That gave me a great excuse to return to central Australia, and in July '03 I spent 3 weeks painting the mural with the help of some of the students. I had a wonderful time, even if my paint froze on the brush one morning! |
