| Hello and Welcome. Not only are those word my greeting to you, but are also things you must use. To make friends you need to communicate. "hello" is a great way of initiating conversation, thus your first step in making a friend. "Welcome." That is your 'thank you.' A nice way to impress people at times, or make anothers day through showing your appriciation. One must note, that not all people will usually become your friend. Don't try so hard, be natural, yet respectful. |
| Making friends usually isn't the hard part, its keeping them. I often see people lose friendships through many ways. One is simply seperation of personalities. Both people have changed in different directions. It is a normal process. Learn to gain a respect for what you had, and don't always try to force it back how it was. People change, so do friendships. Respect. One must respect their friends. You should be there for them, but not constantly "in their business." Respect each others right to privacy and time away from everyone. Also, respect of property and posessions will take you far places. Treat anothers property as it is priceless and they will usually do the same to you. |
