SYNOPSIS - Radhe Mohan is an honest and truthful man, living in a world of his own all the time. A loafer, uncivil in appearance, he is a gem of a man at heart. Radhe meets Nirjara, the daughter of the priest of the village. Radhe falls for the simplicity and the innocence of Nirjara. He concedes his love to her. Shackled by the culture and the values Nirajara says no.

Unknowingly Radhe saves Nirjara's older sister from an adversity. Rameshwar, the would be fiancé of Nirjara, informs her of the incident. Nirjara now realizes her love of Radhe, whom until now she thought of as an immoral loafer. Destiny has its twisting role to play before she can reveal her love to Radhe. The wheels of time brings Radhe to the cross roads. How fate exercises its dominance is the climax of the story.

I miss Sallu.  He disappeared for soooo long.  One day I was missing him so much.  I had to go watch "Tere Naam."  I'm not too fond of Sallu's long bangs in the movie but I do like his crew cut hair in some movie stills that I've seen.  And then who is this Bhoomika Chawla?  She looks a lot like Bhagyashree.  I just hope Bhoomika is not annoying like Bhagyashree.

"Tere Naam" is a different type of film.  Some people may have been lead by it being a romantic movie by some CD covers but it's about an obsess lover.  This is not your typical movie.  The songs are really nice and choreographed very well.

Sallu plays his character with perfection.  He disappears for a while and comes back with a bang.  For all those critics who bad mouth him, they can just shut their mouths cause Sallu can act.  Just because he's been in a lot of comedy movies lately does not degrade him below his status.  Yes, he has personal life problems but who doesn't?  It's made public because he's the hottest Khan and is a top celebrity.  He is human after all!  Anyways, I know Sallu won't get an award this year cause he is always cheated from the Filmfare Award.  Watch the award go to Shahrukh Khan for "Kal Na Ho Gaya."

Bhoomika is amazing.  She is outstanding and shines in her debut film.  I won't be surprise if she picks up the Best Female Newcomer Award.  Her sweet, innocent, traditional look is similiar to Bhagyashree.  Bhoomika's character isn't annoying like Bhagyashree nor does she have that soft voice either.  Her character is also harder to play and Bhoomika perfects it.

The movie did have some dragging moments towards the end.  However, this is not your typical love story.  It's not a movie like an obsess lover like "Darr" or even "Anjaam."  Watch how different this movie is.  The performances are brilliant - especially Sallu's.  This is a must watch film especially for Sallu fans.  However, the critics should watch this movie so they will stop bad mouthing Sallu.
