SYNOPSIS -  Supari is a film about today's youth, their wants, their desires and how far they would go to achieve that. Easy money was what a group of friends Aryaan, PApad, Chicken and Mushy wanted, they didn't want to die old, they had too many dreams to fulfill before that. And the one person who showed them the easiest way to make all their desires come true was the mysterious Mamta Sekhri. Death became a fascinating game and the power that came with it was addictive.

Uday Chopra in the lead??  That's something new.  Hehehe.  I'm not a big fan of his but I do like him...but as a supporting character.  I'm used to it...what can I say?  After "Mohabbatein" and "Mujhse Dosti Karoge," I saw him in those roles.  I did like "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai" but Jimmy Shergill was too cute in the movie so I overlooked Uday, hehehe.  Even Bipasha scored more points than the main heroine Sanjana in the movie.  I wanted to watch "Supari" for one main reason - the storyline.

I didn't know the rest of the cast.  Okay, I know who Nandita Das is.  I do like her but I don't go rush and see her films.  Actually I've only seen her in "Earth 1947."  Her films are more arty and off-beat.  Then for Nauheed.  I didn't like her in "Inteha" but "Supari" is her debut film.  I liked Irfan in "Gunaah" and the rest of the cast, I didn't know who they were.

I thought Uday did a great job acting.  I still think he has a funny look to him.  I don't know what it really is.  His character in the movie was very fragile.  He tried to be tough but overall was afraid.

I didn't like Nandita in the movie.  She was really weird.  I hated her facial expressions.  I liked Nauheed in the movie.  I think she is better at light comedy than the intense drama in "Inteha."  Irfan was wasted in the movie and didn't have much to do.

The movie is worth a watch - at least once.  Some people may love it, or hate it...but it's definitely worth a watch.  There aren't many songs in the movie but the song       with Uday and Nauheed is really beautiful and great to watch.
