A huge star cast.  I know most people don't run out and watch Ajay or Suniel films but this was still a huge star cast since there were not a lot of newcomers except for Neha Dhupia.  However, I still wanted to see the film since it's a remake of "The Rock."  Yes, everyone, another Hollywood remake from the Hindi cinema.  I've heard mix reviews on "Qayamat" but as I said before, I'll make that decision once I watch the film.  There were several times when I did or did not like a film and it was not what the critics thought either.

When I first found out that Sean Connery's character was going to be played by Ajay Devgan.  I couldn't believe it.  Amitach Bachchan would've been a better choice.  However, when I saw the film, there were a lot of similarities when it came down to the storyline.  Of course, you will always expect a change or two.  Ajay was great in his role.  I love the new look to him.  Makes him look younger and sooo good looking, lol.  His acting has been getting better in each film he plays.  Ajay is a type of guy who will impress you with his acting and not his looks...but the more you see him act, the more you'll find him physically attractive.

Suniel Shetty is a good actor also but hasn't been given an outstanding role to play to prove his capabilities.  His film will come.  No one could imagine back then that Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan would come to their standards either.  I like his character in "Qayamat," however, was his character suppose to be Superman or something?" I don't want to use any spoilers in my review.

The villians in the film - Arbaaz Khan & Sanjay Kapoor - they have already done villianous films already.  I love their new look too.  Arbaaz is looking more and more like Sallu.  Soooo hot in the film.  He was okay in his role.  He and Sanjay were quite funny in the film at times.  I enjoyed Sanjay's performance best in "Shakti - The Power."  He was just average in "Qayamat."

Isha Koppikar has come a long way.  Her innocent looks to a more sexy siren.  She also does another sexy dance number in "Qayamat."  She does well in her part but the ladies' roles have been shorten by the guys.

Of all the girls, Neha Dhupia had more footage because she was the lead guy Ajay Devgan's leading lady in the film.  I thought Neha was so gorgeous from pictures and the Miss Universe pageant.  However, in the film, she just looks average.  She reminds me of a more beautiful Esha Deol.  They have the same face structure and light brown hair.  Her acting is decent.  Nothing can really be said about it since she really didn't do much in the film.

Riya Sen is so gorgeous.  Too bad her acting can't be highly praised as her looks.  I thought she was actually funny in the film because of her character but some people will belittle her performance for that.

The Nicolas Cage character to be is played by Aashish Chowdry.  I had no idea who he was but in the movie, he looked like a goofy Jas Arora.  He was very silly and goofy because of his character.  He does well in his role.

Overall the movie is worth watching.  Yes, another rip off of a Hollywood movie but it's quite enjoyable.  The guys will drool over the lovely ladies.  Not every movie will be the best but "Qayamat" is definitey enjoyable to watch.
