SYNOPSIS -  White Feather Films P. Ltd turns over a new leaf with the latest flick “Plan” directed by debutante Hriday Shetty who remarkably showcases his stylish techniques in this venture. A typical masala film, it has slew of noticeable and impressive action sequences, a bit of romance (lifeless), plenty of songs (above average) and abundant exhibition of flesh (well presented). “Plan” features the likes of Sanjay Suri, Dino Morea, Rohit Roy, Bikram Saluja, Priyanka Chopra, Sameera Reddy, Payal Rohitgi, Riya Sen and Mahesh Manjrekar in leading roles. Among the horde of male leads, Sanjay Dutt wows with his stylish get up and brilliant acting. Though not as entertaining as White Feather’s earlier action thriller “Kaante”, “Plan” nevertheless may win praises from the audience due to well executed action and skin show.

Four guys come across in train to Mumbai and discuss their plans about their future life. Bobby (Dino Morea) wants to become an actor whilst Omi (Rohit Roy) has a plan to get his share in money from the person who has robbed his father. On the contrary, Lucky (Sanjay Suri) would love to be lucky in gambling and Jai (Bikram Saluja) likes to have his lost love back. Their plans come in rhythm initially and they enjoy the city life fully. But when they run out of money, decide to play a gamble to win big amount in order to stay in Mumbai. Instead of winning the game, they lose their entire money and owe the winner Rs. 7 Lacs. And as a result of it, their lives get at stake. While thinking on some solution, an idea of kidnapping a rich business tycoon (who they have recently seen splurging money in a dance bar) comes to their minds. Following the idea, they abduct the man. The fact, that the rich man is actually Mussabhai (Sanjay Dutt) who heads Mumbai’s underworld activities and is the city’s most feared gangster, serves them as the worst nightmare of their life. However they succeed in winning Mussabhai’s friendship when he (Mussabhai) realizes that they have saved him from his (Mussabhai’s) men controlled by his rival Sultan (Mahesh Manjrekar). And in the end, Mussabhai eliminates Sultan and his gang with the help of these four guys.

"Plan" has a huge star cast.  It may contain the big star names like in "Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham" with Amitach Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor.  However, it was great to see the male models together - Sanjay Suri, Dino Morea, Bikram Saluja, and Rohit Roy in on movie along with Sanjay Dutt.

Sanjay Suri, I think is underrated.  I really liked him in "Jhankaar Beats" and was good in "Pinjar."  The problem is he's always in a supporting cast and/or share the movie with other stars.  Sanjay has one of the bigger roles of the four male models.  His rugged look with the goatee looks kind of weird on him since he has such a baby face.

Dino Morea is the funny one of the male models.  I do not like him with long hair.  I used to think he was so cute but now he's looking bad ever since "Ssshh."  I hope he does more roles that will showcase his talent.  He is funny in his role and does a good job.

Bikram Saluja is the quiet, lost in love type of guy out of the male models.  I do not remember any of his films after "Fiza."  Out of the male models, he had the most role because it was his character that got the gang going to Mumbai.  He was just average in his role.  He looked bored most of the time.  I would like to see him in better, more meatier roles next time.

Rohit Roy.  I didn't even know who is and did a search for him and he has done several films before but mainly as a supporting roles.  Out of the male models, he's the guy who takes charge and makes decisions.  I like his cute role.  He does well in it.

Of course the main attraction and character is Sanjay Dutt.  He is awesome.  Very underrated and back with a bang.  I like his look in "Plan," he looks dangerous yet stunning at the same time.  Sanju is here to stay.

The ladies of "Plan" has little to do in the movie.  Only Priyanka has the most screen time since she is opposite Sanju.  She is consistent in her acting and does a great job.

Overall, the film is NOT great but it's definitely worth watching.  Some parts of the film did not flow logically.
