SYNOPSIS -
It's about Rajiv and it's about Payal. She is smitten, but he isn't ghayal.
Love, for Rajiv is just a game, with no committments, just the fame.
It's different for Payal, she is a simple girl, with a cute face and purest heart in the world.
Alisha, she walks the walk and talks the talk, forget college studs, she can even melt a rock.
Mambo, the best friend, tries his best, then gives up on Rajiv, like all the rest.
With a new twist at every turn, with laughter and heart burn.
This movie is a roller coaster ride, sometimes with her, sometimes on his side.

Great...another new star cast.  Haven't we had enough of these newcomers?  Even though Amrita Rao already made her debut in "Ab Baras."  She didn't make such a big impact so it wasn't such a big deal to watch this movie....until it gotten rave reviews. I read that it was a surprise hit just like how "Tum Bin" was with the new star cast.  The storyline is very youthful too with the whole college atmosphere so why not give the film a try?

After watching the film, all I can say is WOW...the storyline was not your typical Bollywood film.  Sure, it has flaws but what film doesn't?  The songs are hummable but it's the star cast's acting that makes it great too.  The storyline is nothing new but it has a twist and that's what I love about it.

Shahid is cute looking, like a babyish look.  He's not drop dead gorgeous but he does leave an impact on you cause of his great performance.  He has that silly look like Aamir and Shahrukh in their love movies.  He's not as great as Vivek Oberoi or even John Abraham but he is way better than Tusshar Kapoor.

Amrita is the show stealer.  She plays the innocent yet strong girl very well.  I simply loved her in the movie and respect her more of an actress.  She was very naive in the movie, but I felt she was over all better looking than Shenaz.  Amrita can look sexy too just like she did in "Ab Baras."

Shenaz is just okay.  Her role could have been played by anyone who wanted to look sexy.  I just didn't find enough sex appeal in her cause I felt that Amrita was more beautiful than Shenaz was.  The only difference was Shenaz was glamorize and shed her clothes and Amrita didn't do that.

The movie is a must see and my fave of the year so far.  It's no "Lagaan" but it definitely is a "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai."
