Thrillers.  Thrillers.  Thrillers.  That is the trend of Hindi films nowadays.   "Raaz" seem to set the trend first.  Even though we have seen thrillers in the past such as "Red Rose" and "Raat."  We've been seeing more and more thrillers now.  Not only is the thrillers not stopping, neither are the Hollywood remakes.  You got it!  Yes, "Dhund - The Fog" is also a Hollywood remake.  First we have "What Lies Beneath" & Raaz (I'll also include "Kasoor")...then most recently "Kuch To Hai" & "I Know What You Did Last Summer."  Now we have "Dhund - THe Fog" & "Scream" - I am not even sure which trilogy it copied but the movie was sooo bad that you wish you didn't watch it.  I finished watching for one reason only - I paid to rent and watch this movie so just finished it.  It was a complete waste of my 2.5 hours (or is it longer?)

This marks Amar's debut film.  Okay, he may not be as good looking as Apoorva but he definitely acts a lot better than him (and he's not a great actor either!!)  He isn't a bad looking actor either but he probably is just a couple of pounds overweight.  Amar is actually funny in the movie because of his character.

This movie has a fairly new star cast.  When will Apoorva ever be the lead in any films?  Maybe I shouldn't wish that cause he's not a great actor either.  He may just bore us.  He does no better in "Dhund - The Fog."  His good looks can't pull his acting career together.  Modeling should just be his main focus and not acting.

Aditi is so beautiful.  At times she reminded me of Aishwarya Rai and Riya Sen.  It could be the makeup only because from her regular pictures on the Internet.....she looks just average.  Her acting is way below average.  She hardly show any talent.  It's hard for me to decide who's better - Apoorva or Aditi.  Hmmmm, both is probably equally as talented as the other.

The talented Gulshan Grover is wasted in this film.  He is funny but anyone could have done his role.  The one that was most wasted is Irfan Khan.  He was really good in "Gunaah." The rest of the star cast is not a great supporting cast.

Storyline just plain sucks.  It isn't focus and keeps shifting.  Need I say more about this film except it's bad!  Okay, then why such the high rating?  Yep, a 2 out of 10...the reason is the ending did surprise me but everyone's acting was so bad that I did not care for the movie even more.  This movie can easily be avoided.  You won't regret it one bit!

2 out of 10
