I
knew that the movie was inspired by Bluestreak. I just couldn't really imagine
Bobby in a comedic role...especially like Martin Lawrence. But I like Bobby Deol
(the very few people who do like him) And then I am a big fan of Bipasha so I
wanted to watch for the both of them. I also like Shilpa and think she's
beautiful but I want to see her in roles like Dhadkan instead.
I actually liked Bobby's comedy in the movie. He was good in his role. Most people consider him an action hero just like they did with Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty. I guess all these action hero stars wants to prove that they can act. And all have acheive that already. So Bobby is just taking that step now. I always thought he was an underrated actor AND dancer.
Both
of the ladies had little to do in the film. Mostly just for songs. I was most of
all disappointed in Bipasha's character the most. I mean, I dont' see anything
wrong with doing song and dances because every actress has done that once in
their lifetime...even great actresses like Madhuri, Tabu, and Kajol have done
that. I just wish she had more to do in the movie but it's okay, she knew that
before signing on the movie. She looks great as always and does good in her
role.
Shilpa is looking better and better each time I see her. Her character is a little bit annoying and air-headed. She makes me laugh though. I love her outfits in the movie and she does a great job dancing too. I still would prefer to see her in roles like Dhadkan because she can act. I was most disappointed that she wasn't even nominated for the movie but Ash was nominated for HADPH for crying?
I
thought Paresh and Om were soooo funny. I love the comedy in the movie. They
kept making me laugh so much. Shekhar Suman steals the show in the comedic
department. He is hilarious.
Overall I thought the movie was good and makes you laugh if you are in the mood for a comedy. Of course it's a remake, what do you expect from David Dhawan? People just need to enjoy the film and stop analyzing it too much.
