Awards I've Earned
The Cadette Leadership Pin
To earn this I had to participate in 25 hours of Leadership.
I worked as an Assistant Teacher for the 5year old class at our Vacation Bible School for 2 years and volunteered as the Cherub Choirs Assistant as well.
The Senior Leadership Pin
To earn this I had to participate in another 25 hours of leadership.
I worked as a teacher for the 3/4 year old class at out Vacation Bible School and marched with my High School Marching Band as a member of the Color Gaurd.
The Cadette Program Aid (PA) Pin and Patch
For the Pin, I had to complete a training about the age level I'd would be heling out.
For the patch, I helped out at a Day Camp for local Scouts in my area.  I had to have 25 hours total.

The Apprentice Trainer's Pin
To earn this, I had to go to a full weekend of training.
Senior Girl Scout Troop Assistant (SGSTA)
For this pin, I had to devote an entire year to a Brownie troop and do activities with them. It is quite similar to the Leadership-In-Training.
The Couselour-In-Training Pin and Patch
(CIT)
For the Pin, I had to have completed the LIT.  I went to camp for 1 week learning how to be a counselour.
For the patch, I went to camp for another week and worked directely with younger girls.  I worked with a group of Juniors there for a program called "Outdoor Gournet"  That was a lot fo fun!

(LIT)
For the pin, I had to complete a course training.
For the patch I had to be in the 10th grade or above and complete 25 hours of working with a troop of a younger age.  I worked with a Daisy troop.
This is the membership star. We get one for each year of membership.  This year being the millenium, this is a special star we all recieved.
The Cadette Silver Award
This is the 2nd highest award currently in Girl Scouting.  For this, I worked with a friend of mine and we collected toys that would be sold at a local fair to benifit our Hospital's Radiation and Oncology Dept.  It all accumlated over 25 hours.
This is the Cookie Sale Pin. Each year it is a different color.
The 10 Year Pin
I will recieve this in 2 years. It represents someone who has been in Girl Scouts for 10 years.
As of August 2001, I have been accepted into the Who's Who Among American High School Students for a second year! Which is a very prestigious award apparently.I really would like to know who nominated me for this so I can personally thank them!!!
