NEWSROUND INTERVIEWS - The week leading up to the tour -  January 2002

BRADLEY:
Is it weird now that Hannah and Paul are together?
"No, because they've always been good friends. They're definitely soul mates and they've been good friends as far back as I can remember. They've always had something there that no one else has, know what I mean? They've always had special jokes, but thats cool, and it doesnt change anything. They're professional people. You dont have to worry about 2 people, like, hiding in the toilets!

PAUL:
Nicki, from Wolverhampton: Is there any chance of you doing a duet on the tour with Hannah, or is that too cheesy? (That was my question, haha!!)
Paul: That is a bit cheesy. It's a bit obvious and I'm not one for doing what is obvious. I don't know, let me just ask her....she's laughing at me. So no, not really, I don't think it would happen. I wouldn't want to do a duet with her I don't think.

Laura, 15, from Chester: Are you sick of people asking you about your relationship with Hannah all the time?
Paul: Yeah sometimes it does get a bit tough some times, when you just get asked the same questions
continually, and obviously being at work the whole time and being in each other's face the whole time, it's not a
realistic relationship, So when you have your off days, you don't want to share that with the public because it's
got absolutely nothing to do with them, It can be hard.

RACHEL:
Vicky, Bridgwater: Are Paul and Hannah a kissy couple?
Rachel: They're not actually. I mean they are really close and everything but when they are at work with us they are not. They are really sweet and everything and they go off and have their little chats but they are not really like that as people.

HANNAH:
Nadia, 8, from Havant: Why did you and Paul keep your dating a secret to start with?
Hannah:
Just because it's between me and Paul and when things were first getting on the road we didn't feel
comfortable telling everyone and we were just seeing how it was going between us two. And then obviously it was
going pretty well and we thought it would be nice to be honest with people. When things are in their early stages you don't feel like telling everyone, and you don't feel you have to, because at the end of the day a relationship is between two people and not the whole country. And then when things are going well, you don't want to hide it so you just come out and be honest.

JO:
Hannah, 13, from Oxfordshire: If Hannah and Paul split up, will the group be affected?
Jo:
I don't think so. Personally I don't think Hannah and Paul will split up. And even if they did they've got such a close relationship anyway, because they were really best mates before anything ever came from it. I think they're soul mates I really do, I think they're made for each other. If you see them together they're just so right for each other, it's really nice.

If someone started chatting up one of the girls, would you have a pop or run?
Jon: Thats happened before. We were in Miami and these guys started chatting up the girls. I put my arm round Rachel, Bradley put his arm round Jo and Paul put his arm round Hannah, and said, Theyre our girlfriends. That seemed to work! - 1999
