On the 23rd of November, 2002, I was lucky enough to meet all of S club and spend quite a bit of time in the same studio as them! They were all so friendly, and happy to chat and it was absolutely amazing to meet them all! At one point, I was sat on the SM:TV sofa with Tina to the right of me, and Hannah to the left! (Tina told me to sit by her, haha!)
I spent most my time talking to Tina and Hannah, and managed to chat with Hannah about Paul for a bit. The conversation went a little like this! (I may have missed things out/got things a little wrong, as it�s not everyday you get to speak to your idol, and some things are a little hazy, haha!) One observation: when I mentioned Paul, a little smile crept onto her face!!!
Nicki (that�s me, in case you were wondering!): Hannah, how�s Paul?
Hannah: He�s fine, thank you!
N: Did you watch him on BBC Choice the other day?
H: Nooo, we couldn�t watch it cos we don�t have digital! Paul wants to get it but he�d just watch the sport! Did you see it?
N: Yeah � he wants to live on a ranch with you apparently! (See TV moments section for transcript of Paul�s appearance that we were chatting about!)
H: (chuckles) Yeah, I�d heard about that � someone told me! Was he good?!
N: Yeah, he came across very well � very intelligent!
H: Oooh yes, he�s very intelligent is my Paul! (I thought that was so cute, lol!)
The next time I chatted to Hannah was a little later on. I was sitting chatting to Tina when I mentioned that Paul and Hannah were nominated for Best Couple at the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party, and Tina didn�t know and told me to tell Hannah! I claimed I was too shy, so Tina called Hannah over, who then sat right next to me!!
Tina: Hannah! Nicki�s got something to tell you!
N: You know at the Poll Winners tomorrow? You and Paul are nominated for best couple!
H: oh my god � are we?! I didn�t know that! What am I going to do if we win! I�ll have to go and collect it on my own! Who else is nominated?
N: H and Claire�
H: (jokingly outraged!) They�re not even a couple!! I reckon we stand a chance! (Me and Tina agree they should win!) Sorry, go on�H and Claire�
N: Posh and Becks, Bryan and Kerry and Alesha from Misteeq and her boyfriend.
T: Is Paul going to be backstage tomorrow Han?
H: No, I doubt it, cos he�s not very well���and it�s Smash Hits!
N: Not really his type of thing!
H: Exactly!!
So there we go! I chatted to Han about loads of other stuff, but that was all the Paul info I managed to get out of her, hahaha!
