Some Day

If I had the money
I'd buy us a place where we could stay
With a view by the shore where we would lay
Together as one, a holiday
Passed is forgotten, is tucked away

But these are only words
How much can they say?
This will be the way some day
Yes this will be the way some day

If I was smarter
I would write the book of me and you
And write of our future, lovers, we two
But I would never see this through
No I would never see this through

If I were much stronger
I would lift the burdens off your chest
I'd lay your troubles here to rest
Too strong a man to be depressed
Though I never passed this simple test

But these are only words
How much can they say?
This will be the way some day
It has to be this way some day

Yes these are only words
How much can they say?
This will be our way some day
It has to be our way some day
