Hmmmm... where do I begin???   Disecting BABY PIGGIES is soooo much fun!  I know that you are soooo jealous!  On Tuesday, we actually begin to cut into ht pig.  It was really cool looking at the meat that we call bacon.  Mmm mmm mmm!  Then I got to cut out the liver to look for the stomch.  While I was cutting out the liver, liquid begin to fill the coelom, it was just dye, so we decided to empty out the liquid.  Since I bits and pieces of BABY PIGGY liver everywhere, I couldn't just dump it in the sink cause then the parts would get in to the sink and clog it and that would lower our grade.  So I took it over to the garbage can.  I just flipped it over and let the juices flow into the grabage, the liver included.  I didn't know that we needed to keep the liver, thats why I threw it away.  Then someone told us that we need the liver, only a little late.  The BABY PIGGY'S liver was all over the garbage can, so I had to sit and pick all the little pieces of pig liver out of the garbage.  Some Juniors and Seniors walked by and were like, "what the hell," so they all came in and looked at what I was doing.  I was the only person in my class picking pig liver up out of the garbage!  They were all disgusted cause I wasn't wearing any gloves. Who cares!?  Mrs. Brannon then YELLED to clean up and to put all the organs that we cut out back in the pig.  Yummy!  So, as of now, Willamina, is sitting in a plastic bag on the counter in Mr. Barnett's room, cut open, no attatched liver, and pieces of liver sitting in its stomach cavity!  Fun!  I plan on taking some pictures so I can post them so all can see what Willamina looks like!  Wooo Hooo!

School is out!!!!  And disecting the BABY PIGGIES was even more fun today!  Today, I got to cut out the intestines, the heart, lungs, and a bunch of other fun stuff.  (I will tell you the really gorry stuff in a minute.)  And I held them all in my hands with out gloves.  I didn't break the jaw, I had Shannon do that.  (Thanks.)  I was not going to stick my hand in the pig's mouth with its nasty tongue being all decaded.  NO WAY!  That is really gross!  Ewww!  Anyway, the heart was really cool.  Alex cut to cut that open.  She just got the little scaple, and SHOVED it through the heart!  It had blue dyed blood in the right atrium or verntricle.  I am not sure which one.  Ok, now for the FUN part!  For extra credit, we could cut out the brain and show Mrs. Brannon.  FUN!  That was a little disgusting.  So, I cut back the skin on the top of the head.  Now, I ask you, how do you get to the brain when there is a skull in your way???  SHOVE a pair of scissors through it!  And thats what I did.  I didn't know that we were supposed to cut along these red lines on the scalp until after when Hamilton tried to show me how to get the brain.  Who would have thunk that the skull would have lines to show you how to cut it open.  Well, I then pulled a Ryan Block, and just RIPPED the brain out in little chuncks.  Brittany's group got it all in one piece, I went the funner way!  Anyway, I thought that was is it.  So I put the pig and all its parts in the bad to be thrown away.  Like usually, I found out after i threw the pig away that you had to show Mrs. Brannon the brain for the extra credit.  So, I went and pulled the PIGGY out of the garbage, and got out a piece of the brain.  And I held that brain in my hand and showed Mrs. Brannon.  I felt like I was going to pass out.  That brain felt soooo gross. EWWWW!  She gave me her little look, of, "that doesn't cout, no credit for you."  So I went and got the whole pig and showed her the big hole in its scalp and the missing brain!  She better have given us the credit.  Then, I threw away the pig good.  And that was all of our disection.  And that was my last in Mrs. Brannon's Bio class.  Fun stuff.  Maybe next year I will be able to pass a majority of my science tests!  Oh, I will post my piggy pics sometime soon.  And I will also put some pics of my friends and people, so you won;t have to just look at BABY PIGGIES!  I thought that you might enjoy that.
