News.... January 3, 2002 Yes, it is true, Nick Carter was arrested early Tuesday evening at Pop City Club in Tampa Bay for not leaving the club after having an argument with an unnamed woman. The police asked him to leave the club over 10 times but he refused to leave, so finally they gave him until the count of three, and when he still didn't leave, they handcuffed him and later he was released on his own recognizance. His hearing is March 4th. "I have done nothing wrong, I truly believe my celebrity status motivated the officer to arrest me." The officer "said my name aloud during the incident. I am certain that after a full investigation of the facts my name will be cleared" Nick Carter in a statement released late Thursday through publicist Courtney Barnes. January 9, 2002 YAY ITS AJ'S 24TH BIRTHDAY!! January 11, 2002 Nick Carter apparently bawled when he was in the squad car, handcuffed, a witness said. Nick was apparently crying because this was the first time he was arrested and he didn't know what to do about it. He was also upset because the cops arrested him because he's a Backstreet Boy. How cute:)
