(audience applause)

1.YOU STARRED IN "AMERICAN BEAUTY". WHAT'S THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STATE IN AMERICA?

Craig Kilborn: Geography, you starred in American Beauty, what's the most beautiful state in America?

(music starts)

Thora Birch: Ok, it's, is it Rome?

Craig Kilborn: The most beautiful state.... that's european

Thora Birch: Alright, California.

Craig Kilborn: Califorina! You're damn right it is!

(audience applause)

2. BESIDES BIRCH NAME THREE OTHER TYPES OF TREES.

Craig Kilborn: Um, this is 2, besides Birch, your last name, name 3 other types of trees.

Thora Birch: Ok, um, oak, is it.. willow is a type?

Craig Kilborn: Oh willow is a tree

Thora Birch: Ok, a willow tree, and um... umbrellas

(audience laughs)

Craig Kilborn: Anyone ever heard of it?

Thora Birch: -raises right hand and starts yelling:I saw it, at my home, I know it's a tree!(giggles)

Craig Kilborn: A black one?

Thora Birch: Yeah.

Craig Kilborn: Alright, sure then.

("you got it right!" ding sound)

Thora: And berries.... I can go long enough!

Craig Kilborn: Ok, yeah, you've done it.

(Thora laughs)

3. WHAT IS THE NAME OF SAN ANTONIO'S BASKETBALL TEAM

Craig Kilborn: What is the name of San Antonio's basketball team?

(Thora smiles, starts laughing)

(audience laughs)

Craig Kilborn: Not a big fan?

Thora Birch: Well it's a.... it's... I... wha...(stares funnily at the audience, wanting the answer)

Craig Kilborn: No, no help from the audience.

(audience laughs)

Thora Birch: Gordon? Squirton?

Craig Kilborn: That is incorrect!

Thora Birch: Oh, no! -yells: no! (puts her hand on her face smiling)

("It's wrong" buzz)

4. HOTTER: JARED LETO OR HEATH LEDGER?

Craig Kilborn: Who's hotter, Jared Leto or Heath Ledger?

Thora Birch: (thinks) This is like there's supposed to be a correct answer for this?

Craig Kilborn: Maybe

(audience laughs)

Thora Birch: Um..... Ledger?...I....

Craig Kilborn: Damn right!

Thora Birch: OK! good for me!

5. SHOW US "MOM, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!"

Craig Kilborn: Now, you are one of Hollywood's new young stars, you are an actress , show us "Mom, you don't understand!"

(Thora makes a "dramatic" but funny "act", as if she was telling her mom she doesn't understand without actually saying it)

(audience laughs)

(Thora laughs)

Craig Kilborn: And correct!

(audience applause)
