This message is aimed at these people:
a. Those who have two identities on this list
b. Those who are having trouble with email going to the wrong email 
address
c. Those who want to connect a Yahoo ID to their existing 
subscription, so as to access the Deed zip file.

There are two procedures, depending on whether the Yahoo ID you are 
using has a Yahoo email address associated with it. The procedure 
looks long, but it is easy if you take it one step at a time, with 
the possible exception that some parts of the procedure will not be 
necessary for particular people.

The two procedures are quite similar, but for clarity, they are 
presented separately.

Use this procedure if the Yahoo ID you are using does NOT have a 
Yahoo email account (other procedure below).

Preparation
1. You have an email address registered on the openVictims group. 
This means your membership has been granted by one of the moderators, 
and you are receiving email messages through it.
2. You have a Yahoo ID. This ID is not subscribed to the 
openVictims group in any way, and does not have an associated Yahoo 
email address.

Procedure
3. Browse to yahoo.com.au
Press the Groups link
Press Sign_In link
[Optional: press Secure]

4. Log in with your Yahoo ID.
=> It comes up with a screen saying "You are not currently 
subscribed to any groups" (depending on your circumstances).

5. Press My_Groups
6. Press Membership_Wizard
=> Your email addresses are listed.
7. CHECK that the email address referred to in (1) is listed (and 
verified). If not correct, then Add_a_different_email_address (there 
is a verification procedure), then start again from (3).
8. If your email address is listed, press continue.
=> A congratulations screen should appear listing openvictims 
(and probably otmushrooms). 
9. Press Go_to_My_Groups.
10. Press openvictims. You will get a Select Yahoo Profile screen. 
Depending on your circumstances, it may have chosen one for you. The 
next instruction assumes this.
11. Press Continue.
=> You will get a Congratulations screen saying you can access 
all the web features for openVictims.
12. Press View_openvictims
=> You will get the openVictims home page with all features 
enabled.
13. You may like to repeat steps 9 to 12 for otmushrooms. For step 
9 in this context, press My_Groups.

Use this procedure if the Yahoo ID you are using HAS a Yahoo email 
account.

Preparation
1. You have an email address registered on the openVictims group. 
This means your membership has been granted by one of the moderators, 
and you are receiving email messages through it.
2. You have a Yahoo ID. This ID is not subscribed to the 
openVictims group in any way. If it is subscribed, unsubscribe it 
from both groups.

Procedure
3. Browse to yahoo.com.au
Press the Groups link
Press Sign_In link
[Optional: press Secure]

4. Log in with your Yahoo ID.
=> It comes up with a screen saying "You are not currently 
subscribed to any groups" (depending on your circumstances).

5. Press My_Groups
6. Press Email_Preferences
=> Your email addresses are listed.
7. CHECK that the email address referred to in (1) is listed and 
verified (Status=Normal). Take corrective action if necessary, then 
start again from (3).
8. If your email address is listed, press continue.
=> A congratulations screen should appear listing openvictims 
(and probably otmushrooms). 
9. Press Go_to_My_Groups.
10. Press openvictims. You will get a Select Yahoo Profile screen. 
Depending on your circumstances, it may have chosen one for you. The 
next instruction assumes this.
11. Press Continue.
=> You will get a Congratulations screen saying you can access 
all the web features for openVictims.
12. Press View_openvictims
=> You will get the openVictims home page with all features 
enabled.

It is important that you do not subscribe your Yahoo ID via the web, 
prior to connecting it to the email address, or afterwards.

If done correctly, the email will continue to be delivered to your 
non-Yahoo address, with no mail going to your Yahoo email account.
