Terren Help!

Terran Missions Mission One - This is pretty simple. You have to build a supply depot, refinery, and gather fuel. If you can't manage the menus, consult the manual. Mission Two - You start out with some Marines and SCVs. Your first objective is to find Raynor. Move Southeast and you should encounter him. There will be a few aliens hanging around, but your Marines should make short work of them. Move further Southeast and set up base. You'll need to gather material and build a barracks. After that, it's pretty simple to build 10 Marines. Stay in the area of the base, so aliens don't bother you. Mission Three - Start gathering minerals and building Marines. When you have at least six Marines, head Northeast. There will be alien resistance, but if you line your men up carefully and move slowly, you should be able to kill them before they get too close. Rescue the colony you find, and add their troops to yours. Use their barracks to replace any Marines you've lost. Also, take advantage of their Academy and research the weapon and stim upgrades. You will need to build a refinery, if you have not already done so. There are further alien structures to the East. Eliminate them, replacing any Marines you lose. Mission Four - Start gathering materials, and making more troops. Position them on the rooftops of the buildings, and put Marines in the bunkers. Perform the weapon/armor upgrades, and build a factory and machine shop when possible. Have the Vulcans patrol the area, and keep an eye on the map. Replace troops/Vulcans when destroyed, and have an SCV standing by to do repairs on buildings. The attacks are pretty easy to repel for most of the mission, except when the base is swarmed in the last minute or so. If you have a decent number of troops, they'll at least slow down the attack long enough for the dropships to arrive, which will end the mission in victory. Mission Five - Form your Marines and Firebats into a squad, with Raynor behind. Slowly move Northwest, wiping out resistance along the way. Move slow, as there are a number of automated defense systems you'll have to deal with. Keep Raynor behind the troops so he doesn't come under fire. You'll come across a teleporter in the Northeast that will move you to another section. Move Southwest cautiously, taking out any troops you find. You'll eventually come across a circle much like the teleporter. Send Raynor into it, and he'll access the files you need. Mission Six - Select your Marines, and head South. You'll eventually come across Kerrigan, who will reveal sections of the map for you. Group Kerrigan and Raynor together, and let your Marines protect them. The base is to the Northeast, but you'll have to pass through a well-defended Confederate base to get to it. Use Kerrigan's cloaking ability to pass through the base (but keep her far away from missile towers, as they can detect cloaked units). Once she arrives in the base and enters the circle, the base will be liberated, and the units will open fire on the enemy. Once they're wiped out, start gathering materials and making troops. Also build any buildings types that are not already in the base, and perform all unit upgrades. Be sure to research spider mines, and place them around the entrance to the base. Occasionally enemy forays will occur, but the mines and bunkers should repel them. Keep the bunkers repaired, and stocked with fresh troops. The enemy base is in the Southwest corner. Use cloaked Wraiths to take out their Refinery and it's guards. Use transports to drop troops near the Refinery and establish a base. Once you control that area, use the Wraiths to perform hit and run attacks on the base. Stay clear of the missile towers, and use your other troops to take them out. Keep re-supplying your troops with the drop ships. It will take a little time, but you'll eventually overrun the enemy. Mission Seven - Group your Marines and head west. You'll encounter some Zerg, but you should be able to get rid of them without too much trouble. Liberate the base and start gathering supplies. Make enough Marines to fill all the bunkers. Make vultures, and quickly research spider mines so that you can surround your base with mines. Zerg troops will constantly try to harass you, so make sure you have plenty of defense. Keep an eye on your buildings, and repair when necessary. Set up the rest of the buildings and perform all upgrades. You will note that you're running low on Vespane Gas. There's another source to the Northwest. It is guarded, so make a couple Vultures, some Marines and a couple Wraiths. Send them into the area to wipe out the opposition, and then guard the area while you build another Refinery. Protect the area with a couple of full Bunkers and Missile Towers. You can also surround the area with Spider Mines, and put a couple Vultures in the area. Build a large force of Wraiths. If you build and use a Comm Tower, you'll see that the map is pretty full of Zerg defenses. There's a narrow pathway that runs along the southern edge of the map that will allow Dropships to pass by only a few Zerg systems, before turning Northwest and heading towards the downed ship. Make a full force of twelve Wraiths and head along the same path. Have them engage the southernmost Zerg, while letting the Dropships slip past. Send them into the circle for another victory. Mission Eight - You will start out under attack from all sides. You don't have a lot of weapons, so you'll have to take some losses. Move the buildings that you can, and leave the others behind. Gather materials, and build Arclight Siege Tanks as quickly as you can. Use them to take out the enemy tanks that are harassing you. Once the base is secure from the opening attack, man all the Bunkers and set up plenty of Missile Turrets. Also set up some Goliaths around the base, and make liberal use of Spider Mines. This should keep the base safe. Set up a Comm Tower, and search for the drop-off point for the Psi Emitter. It's somewhere around the center of the enemy base, which is to the Northeast of yours. While searching, build up a force of Tanks, Goliaths, Wraiths and Vultures, and perform weapons and armor upgrades. While searching for the drop-off, you'll see the Southern approach is a bit less guarded by missile towers. Before beginning the assault, go and reclaim the mineral supplies you lost at the beginning of the mission. Set up defenses around them, and use this as a staging area for your troops. Move your forces out slowly, returning to the mineral area for repairs when you take damage. Be sure to take out any missile towers you find, as well as any other enemy troops. Build a transport, and place the Emitter on board. Make sure your attack force is at full strength (at least twelve combined units) and have them attack the missile turret closest to the drop-off. Keep pounding on the enemy after the turret is destroyed, concentrating on anything that can shoot missiles. In the confusion, send the Dropship in to drop off the Emitter. It should make it before it gets blown out of the sky (save before trying this, as the timing can be a bit tricky). Mission Nine - Move your buildings across to the abandoned base. There are a few enemy troops here, but you'll quickly get rid of them. Set up base, and start gathering materials. Once the base is well defended (including a good number of missile turrets), use the General's ship and move Northeast. Take out the two missile towers you find, and set up an outpost there by bringing some Goliaths over with a Transport. Set up some missile turrets and bring some SCVs over to help with unit repairs. Put together a group of at least four Siege Tanks and eight Goliaths. Use the General's ship to scout out the area, with the Tanks and Goliaths following behind. When you spot the enemy, put the Tanks into siege mode, and guard them with the Goliaths and the General. If they're in range of a building, the tanks will begin to shell them. This will usually draw out the enemy, which should all be killed as they rush forward. Use an SCV to keep the units repaired. When you come across any enemy missile turrets, use the General's ship's Yamoto Gun to take them out with one shot. Work on clearing out the enemy in the Northeast, which should give you some more raw materials to work with (the minerals at your original base should be about depleted at that time). After setting up another base, and putting together some defenses, it's time to move in on the rest of the enemy. Use the same procedure you used before, moving slowly and keeping the units repaired. You will occasionally lose a unit, but you should have enough supplies to quickly make more. It will take some time, but you'll eventually clear the map of the enemy. Mission Ten - Ring you base with defenses, but be sure to not set them up too closely to the Zerg, since you can't destroy any of their buildings. Any Zerg that wonder into your territory can, of course, be eliminated. Place Siege Tanks and Missile Turrets near each other to take out a variety of enemies. Once the base is well defended, build up a force of at least five Siege Tanks and eight Goliaths. Move slowly to the south by setting Tanks into siege mode and then moving the Goliaths forward a bit to cover them. When you spot some Protoss buildings, put the Tanks in siege mode and let the shelling begin. Between the tanks and the Goliaths, minimal damage should be taken by your forces. Keep an SCV nearby to perform repairs. Once the Protoss in the south are eliminated, it's time to concentrate on the ones to the East. This section is a bit harder to take out, as the main entry are two ramps that lead into their base. You'll need to soften up the opposition a bit first, so set up the Tanks near the bottom of the ramps, then send one Goliath up to lure some Protoss down. You will lose some units with this method, but eventually their forces will thin out enough for you to move into their territory and conquer it. Mission Eleven - Set up a base, and make sure it's very well defended. The enemy has many, many troops and will be attacking you constantly. Put up plenty of missile towers, and place them close enough together that at least two of them can shoot at enemy ships whenever they come into range. Set up bunkers for the troops you start out with around the base. Also set up sets of Siege Tanks/Golaiths around the base, as well as making some Science Vehicles to search for enemy Ghost units, and their attempts to launch nuclear attacks against you. When you have the base well defended, start making some Wraiths. Assign at least four Wraiths to a Science Vehicle, and have them patrol your base, watching for cloaked units coming in to attack. Put together at least two patrols like this, then make another set. Also build at least five siege tanks and eight Goliaths. The closest enemy base is to the Northwest, and you'll want to take them out first. Group the tanks into one group, the Goliaths into another, and the Science Vehicle/Wraiths into a third. Also bring along at least one SCV. Have them move slowly towards the other base, using the Goliaths and ships to guard the tanks in siege mode. The enemy will throw plenty of units at you, but if you keep you units together, you should be able to eliminate them before they do too much damage. The enemy may also choose this time to attack your base, but if you've set up plenty of defenses, you should be able to withstand the attack with some losses. Rebuild those as quickly as possible. Once you've eliminated the enemy base, use the SCVs to build another Command Center, and mine the remaining minerals and Vespane Gas at this location. You'll probably need to replenish your assault force, as well as build some Missile Towers to defend the Command Center. Once the materials run out, it's time to move on. There's an open mineral/gas field to the East, but it's very close to the main enemy base. Gather up your assault force, and make slow progress towards the mineral area. You'll face attack, but you should be able to repel the assault. Once you've secured the field, bring the Command Center over, and set it up. Begin gathering minerals and gas, and put up some Missile Towers. Scatter the Siege Tanks and Goliaths around the base for protection, as the enemy will try to move you out. Build another assault force, and move them up the ramps to the Northeast of the new base. The main enemy base is just to the East, over a bridge. Use a Goliath or a Wraith to lure enemy troops into a Siege Tank barrage. Once you've done that a couple of times, move your units into the base. A good strategy to use is only take one or two tanks out of siege mode at a time, and move them slightly in front of the others. Keep leap-frogging them while keeping the Goliaths and Wraiths close by. Continue this method, and you'll eventually destroy the enemy base. You will lose units, so make sure to keep some in reserve. Now it's time to assault the cannon. At this point, the enemy has probably used up all their troops, so it's probably only guarded by Missile Towers. Use dropships to move some Siege Tanks and Goliaths over to just outside the entrance to the cannon base. Take out the towers and any defenders, then destroy the cannon. Victory!
