Game 2- The Mariners completed a doubleheader sweep, as Jamie Moyer (10-2) pitched 7 shutout innings. The M's won 11 games in their 12 game road trip, as they shutout the NY Mets, 7-0. (42-19)
Monday June 9th- No Game
Tuesday June 10th- Gil Meche (8-3) pitched 6 1/3 innings, but gave up 4 ER. Jeff Cirillo went 3-4, but the offense wasn't producing, as the Montreal Expos beat the M's, 7-3. (42-20)
Wednesday June 11th- Joel Pineiro (5-5) pitched 7 1/3 strong innings, only giving up 2 ER, but he didn't get any run support. Mike Cameron hit a HR for the lone run as the Montreal Expos beat the M's, 3-1. (42-21)
Thursday June 12th- Ryan Franklin (5-4) pitched one of the best games of his career, giving up 0 ER in 8 IP. Bret Boone hit his 18th HR, as the M's avoided the sweep and beat the Montreal Expos, 1-0. (43-21)
Friday June 13th- Freddy Garcia (7-6) pitched 7 1/3 innings, giving up only 1 ER, while striking out 5. John Olerud went 2-3, as the Mariners beat the Atlanta Braves, 2-1. (44-21)
Saturday June 14th- Jamie Moyer (10-3) lost his first game since April 30th, pitching 7 1/3 innings, giving up 3 ER. Ichiro went 2-3, but the M's lost to the Atlanta Braves, 3-1. (44-22)
