Forever isn't long enough, when you are but a man, when life's lessons lie before you,
and you do what you can, to piece together a puzzle,
or heart that's torn in two, I've found the greatest lesson, In how much I love you,

And though I've cried a billion tears, and suffered my way through,
I've always maintained hope, that love would maintain true,

Perhaps love is for poets, and men of yesteryear,
and I mistress of music, have nothing more to fear,

But somehow truth has shattered,  this silent reverie,
and this symphony of sadness, dissapates from me,

Come back to me my love, refresh my heart anew,

Sparkle in the sun,  like drops of fresh fallen dew,

Put out the fire within, My parched and weary soul,

with torrents of your passion, come and make me whole.
