Hello baby,

This would have been your 35th birthday. I can't help but think how things could have / should have been.

We would be living in our own house in Nevada. I'm in your room right now. You could have gone out on the patio whenever you wanted. The weather is nice almost all the time and most of your time would have been spent outdoors. Then of course there are the casino's. Remember the time we went to Atlantic City. You were 21 and wanted to gamble. You took $20.00. I thought for sure you would lose your money really quick. Especially since you were betting dollars. Instead you fooled me. Ten minutes later and $40.00 ahead you were ready to leave. That's my boy. Take the winnings and run. Mom taught you well. We would have another dog now. You have Spike with you so I got a new puppy. I named her Rosie. She's crazy. She has a basketball that that's two times bigger then she is. She chases it around the yard trying to bite it. Sometimes when she's doing this I can almost hear you laughing. I know she sees you when your here. She growls at you. Give her time, it'll pass. I tell her your allowed in.

Since you've been gone I miss you every day and long for the life we should have had. But God needed an angel. He only lent you to me for a short time and wanted you back. So I have to accept and wait for the day I can hold you in my arms again. I know your safe with Grandma and Grandpa. You can walk now, have no more problems and are much better then when you were here. But sometimes I feel selfish and want you with me.

Well, sweetie Happy Birthday and watch for your balloons. Remember Mommy loves you and always will.

Always in my heart
Mom
