I was going through some of my things and came across this picture of us. You and your Aunt Dodo on a very important day in my life. This was the last time we went out together. You, Tara and me. Do you remember? I borrowed your mothers van. It was easier then taking my car. Off we went. First the movies. We saw Free Will. Remember me crying like a baby at the end. Then again I was always a softy. After the show we went to City Island. To King Lobster for lunch. Grandma was working so she sat with us. Remember Sal let you wear his captains hat. I think I have a picture of you with it on.
Then off we went to your cousin Tommy's house to see him and his family. Your cousins loved you so much. Finally we had to go home. I thought your Mom was going to shoot me that day. We were so late. You were so tired, but happy. I thank God every day that we had this time together.
This memory along with all the days we spent together while you were growing into such a wonderful young man keep me going. Even though we only had each other for a short time, I will always treasure the years I had with you. You are the best Nephew any woman could ask for.� I will always love you.
