RenderMan stuff
Rendered using BMRT and PRman with only 2 NURBS surfaces, use of fog is learned from the Advanced RenderMan book.
- A tutorial producing a similar picture is now available.
- bfilter (built with BMRT 2.5.0.1) is a RIB filter that generates the required "Declare" statements to enable BMRT to work quitely [no more warnings on undeclared variables] (you will need this for RIBs generated by Houdini).
[Usage : bfilter < foo.rib | rendrib]
( Tested only under Cygwin )
Under some situation e.g. use of RMan SOP, renderdc from DotC Software also displayed warning messages about undeclared variables and therefore should also benefit from this filter.
- bmrtds (built with BMRT 2.5.0.1) is a Houdini 3.1 dialog generator. Given a list of BMRT compiled shaders (*.slc), it generates the required RM*.ds files for Houdini.
[Usage : bmrtds *.slc]
( Tested only under Cygwin )
- rdcds is a NEW Houdini dialog generator. Given a list of RenderDotC compiled shaders (*.dll), it generates the required RM*.ds files for Houdini.
[Usage : rdcds *.dll]
( Tested only under Cygwin )
- prmands is a NEW Houdini dialog generator. Given a list of PRMan compiled shaders (*.slo), it generates the required RM*.ds files for Houdini.
[Usage : prmands *.slo]
( Tested only under Cygwin )
- Underwater RIBs generated by Houdini and rendered with BMRT.
