Sir (Dr) Vivian Fuchs went on many expeditions in his life but my favourite is when he and Sir Edmund  Hilllary both took teams from either side of the antarctic  in the British commonwealth trans-Antarctic expedition in 1958 TAE clip 1

Don Walsh and Jacques Piccard achieved a recordbreaking decent in the bathyscaphe Trieste on Jan 23 1960

Tt decended 35,797ft to the ocean floor in the Challenger Deep ,deepest part of the Mariana trench
Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones flew Breitling orbiter 3 around the world,there is a great book about there voyage which they will both sign called "The great Adventure"its a great read

In the footsteps of Scott.
Robert Swan lead a 3 man team in the "footsteps of Scott"along with Gareth Wood and Roger Mear.
Loaded down with 350lbs os survival gear the 3 attempted the first unsupported trek to the South Pole.
They had no dogs,mechanical support food caches or radios.
