What is Japanese Language
Profienct Test (JLPT)?
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test is
conducted both in Japan and outside Japan to evaluate and certify the
language proficiency of primarily non-native speakers of Japanese.The test is administered by the Association of International Education,
Japan (AIEJ), inside Japan, and by the Japan Foundation outside Japan.
The examination will held in 1st Sunday in December every year all over
the world.
Contents of the JLPT
The test has four different levels; the examinee
can choose the level that best matches his or her ability and training.
Each test is made up of three sections: writing-vocabulary; listening;
reading-grammar. The contents and criteria of the test are as follows:

a high level, konws around 2,000 kanji
and 10,000 words, and has an integrated command of the language
sufficient for life in Japanese society. This level is normally
reached after studying Japanese for around 900 hours. |
