[Nic Totopoulous pulls into the parking lot at UWA towers in a black Camero from the 1980’s.  He drives around the lot momentarily before backing into a parking spot in between a mini-van and a jeep.  He steps opens the door and steps out of the door.  He is wearing black leather boots, a black Nic Totopoulous T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and he has his long blonde hair tied back in a pony tail.  He locks the door and shuts it.  He walks toward the entrance of the building.  He opens the door and walks inside.  He walks over to the reception area.  He is muttering something to himself as he steps in line to talk to the receptionist at the front desk.]

Totopoulous – What the hell am I doing here?  I haven’t been here in so long.  I haven’t even been on stupid TV for so long.  Don’t they realise that I am the greatest thing they’ve got?  All they do is let me sit at home.  Jeez man, this is starting to piss me off.  I mean am I here to be released or what?  Man, I can’t wait to get this over with.

[He stops muttering to himself and steps up to the counter as the he reaches the front of the line.]

Hi, I’ve got a meeting with Mark Drivlane.  He called me at home a few days ago.  He wanted to see me about something.  You don’t happen to know what it is do you?

Receptionist – I’m sorry Mr. Totopoulous, I’m not sure what his intentions are.  But I do know that he is waiting for you in his office.  He has another meeting right now, so you might have to wait a few minutes.  The wait shouldn’t be long though.

As unhelpful as you just were, thank you.

His office is just down the hall and…

I know where it is thank you.

Right, of course you do.  He should be ready in a moment.

[Totopoulous turns around and begins to walk down a hallway to his right.  He mutters to himself the whole way.]

Stupid Mark Drivlane.  Schedule a meeting before me.  Make me wait.  What the hell?  I’m the franchise here.  If it wasn’t for me, the UWA would be in the toilet right now.  When all the top stars were gone a few months ago, I was here putting people in the seats.  I was the one selling out the arenas.  I was the most popular wrestler in the company.  Now he wants to make me wait?  The nerve of this guy!

[He continues to walk down the hall and makes a left hand turn down one more hallway.  He is still muttering.]

I have had some of the most classic matches in UWA history.  All I’ve ever done is give it my best, and this is the way they repay me.  They make me sit at home.  They let my star die out.  I’m not happy, and Mark is going to hear about it!

[He walks down until he reaches a wooden door with the name Mark Drivlane written on it.  He has a foggy glass window so you cannot see inside.  He stops for a moment.  He takes a deep breath, turns the door handle and opens the door.  He enters a small lobby type area.  There is some popular music playing quietly over the speakers.  There is a desk with a lady sitting behind it talking on the phone.  He walks up to the desk and he surprisingly waits patiently for her to finish her phone call.  She says good-bye and hangs up the phone.]

Secretary – Can I help you?

Are you new here?

Yes I am.  I have only been here for a few weeks.

That’s why I haven’t seen you here I guess.

Probably.

I have a meeting with Mark Drivlane, and I believe it is supposed to be taking place right now.

Hmm…  let me just look it up quickly on the computer.

[She types a few keys on the keyboard, gives a few clicks on the mouse.]

Are you Nic Totopoul…lou…pou…

Totopoulous.

That’s it.  Are you him?

Are you kidding?  You don’t even know who I am?

Well, not really.  I don’t really know any of the wrestlers here.

Alright, well yes I am.

Mr. Drivlane is currently in another meeting, but he should be done any minute now.

Thank you.

You can take a seat in one of the chairs.

[Totopoulous turns around, steps back, and takes a seat in one of the chairs.  He’s not mumbling this time, but he doesn’t look happy.  He has his arms crossed as he leans back in the chair.  Just then a man in a suit opens the door and walks out of Drivlane’s office.  He walks past Totopoulous and out the door into the hallway.  Totopoulous watches him walk out.  Just then a voice is heard from the speaker on the secretary’s desk.]

Voice - Is Nic Totopoulous here yet?

[The secretary pushes a button and responds into a microphone.]

Yes he is.  Would you like me to send him in?

Yes please.

Mr. Totopoulous, you may…

I know, I heard.  I’m sitting right here, I’m not deaf.

I’m sorry sir, of course you aren’t.

[Totopoulous stands up out of the chair and walks over to the door.  He opens the door and walks into Drivlane’s office.  He shuts the door behind him.  Drivlane is wearing a suit and is sitting in a leather chair behind a very impressive desk.  There is an empty chair sitting in front of his desk as well.]

Drivlane – Please take a seat.  There is something I have to tell you.

What might that be Mark?  Might it be that you have been doing your fans a great dishonesty by making me sit at home?  Is it that the man that has stuck with the UWA through thick and thin, that has done everything he has ever been asked has been sitting at home for the last few weeks?  Might it have something to do with the fact that I, Nic Totopoulous am getting screwed here?  All I want to do is get into the ring and compete.  All I want to do is wrestle with the best wrestlers in the world.  All I want to do is do what I love.

Ever since I came to the UWA I have worked my ass off.  I came to every show, I competed in every show.  I put my body and my life on the line week in and week out so the majority owner, whether it be yourself or Ron Rose could make a buck.  I paid my dues when I first came into the UWA.  I spent lots of time wrestling people that don’t even belong in the same vicinity as myself.  I spent months with the UWA Television title, and I didn’t get noticed.  Then I finally get noticed.  I finally won the U.S. title.  In fact, I am the second person to ever hold that title twice.  I just thought you should know that if you didn’t already.  And when everyone left, when Blader Skum, Shadow, X-Kalibur, Michael Edwards, Maniac, Mike Furious, and so many people were absent from the roster, I was there.  I was there when it looked like the UWA was going into the gutter.  I was there to put people in the seats.  I was there to keep the UWA afloat during that hard time.

Just last month I was in one of the best matches in UWA history against Maniac.  I gave my heart and soul for that match.  It was hardcore, it was gory, it was technically sound, and most of all, emotions ran wild.  That could have ended my career, but I risked it all in the name of the UWA.  How do you repay me?  How?  You send me home to sit on the couch and watch TV.  You send me home to watch Rampage and Stranglehold at the local bar, instead of me being backstage, waiting for my music to hit, talking with the guys, watching the show with the guys, and most importantly, performing in front of thousands of people.  This has been a hard time for me, and it’s all your fault.  I feel that I deserve better.  I deserve to be on TV.  I deserve a match for all I’ve done for this company, for all the money I have put in your pocket.  I deserve better than what I am getting.

So why did you call me here, huh?  Why?  So you can fire me?  So you can end my UWA career right here, right now?  Is that it?  You want to embarrass me?  Is that why the cameraman has been following me ever since I got here?  Are you going to fire me and then show it on Rampage and mock me?  Is that your plan?  Well say something.  Tell me why the hell I’m here!

You have a match against Travis Williams on Thursday Rampage this week.

[Totopoulous’ face changes from pure anger to utter surprise.  The camera zooms in on Totopoulous’ surprised face as the scene fades to black.]
