[Totopoulous is seen backstage at a local UWA non-televised live event.  He is in his dressing room standing up with a man in a white coat.  Totopoulous is wearing jeans, a T-shirt and black boots.  He seems to be conversing about something.  Just then, another person walks onto the scene.  He gives them a signal of some sort.  He then walks out of the way.]

Totopoulous – I welcome everyone to my locker room.  I’m not going to dance around the subject.  I’m not going to beat around the bush.  I’m not going to try and leave everyone wondering.  This past little while, I know that there have been many rumors going around about many things.  One of those things is whether or not I am fit to compete this Sunday at Road to Ruin.  One of them is whether or not I will be able to defend my UWA Undisputed Championship against Kevin Cosmos.  One of them is whether or not Kevin Cosmos will give me my belt back before this Sunday night.  Well let me try to answer as many of them as I possibly can right now.

This past Wednesday, during a sad day in the history of not only the United States, but also the world, Kevin Cosmos had quite a few things to say about the UWA.  They were things about many different people.  One of those people just happened to be yours truly, Nic Totopoulous.  Well Cosmos, I guess you did it.  I guess that you tricked me good.  You were able to prove that I was faking my injury.  You were able to prove that my internal injuries, my internal bleeding, by broken ribs, all of that, was fake.  You were able to prove that yes I indeed did have internal injuries, but that they were not quite to the degree that I explained them to be.  Then you went on to tell the people about how you valiantly in the past competed with spinal cord and back injuries because you were a great competitor, and a great champion.  That is great for you Cosmos.  But the was I see it is, that you were stupid to do that.  You could have caused yourself permanent damage, permanent paralysis.  You could have ended your career, or even your life in that ring with those injuries.  Maybe I’m not as tough or as valiant as you are, but I am also not as stupid.

Therefore, I guess that it will be your decision not to give me my belt back.  I guess that it will be your decision to continue to carry around my belt and proclaim yourself as the UWA Undisputed Champion of the world.  Or will it?  I told you Kevin that the injuries I sustained were in fact very dangerous.  I told you that those injuries could cause permanent damage, that they were career threatening, even life threatening.  I told you that the only way I would compete in that match is if you gave me my belt back.  Since you have refused to do so, I am just going to have to not compete this Sunday.  Does this mean that I will lose my championship, that I forfeit the title to Kevin Cosmos?  No, it does not.  You see as I said before my injuries are very real.  Cosmos, I don’t know what doctors you were talking to, but you were not talking to mine.  Maybe they were a few that want to make some extra money for I am certain that you paid them a hefty sum for that information.  As to why these doctors would like to hurt the good name of Nic Totopoulous by telling such lies is beyond me.  You see my doctor is the man standing next to me.  He is Dr. James Wilson.  Dr. Wilson has been my doctor for a long time now, and whenever I have had a problem he has always been by my side, and he has never steered me in a less than ethical path.  Now he has advised me that wrestling in this match might not only cause me further damage, but it could also end my life if I was handled in the wrong way.  So here I bring for you, Dr. James Wilson who will reaffirm what I have been saying for this whole time, that I cannot compete this Sunday.

Dr. Wilson – I have here in my hand a file.  This file contains the test results that I have performed on Nic Totopoulous.  There has been no other doctor in the world within the last six months that has taken care of Nic Totopoulous.  I am the one and only.  Now as I open the file and look inside, I will see that Nic Totopoulous has seven broken ribs, internal bleeding, and various other injuries to his internal organs.  These injuries come from a direct result from an extreme impact on the stomach.  If this was not enough, later in the day he proceeded to compete in a wrestling match against Sparky Anderson, which in fact did indeed cause more injury to Nic Totopoulous.  You see he was put into a wrestling move called the Sharpshooter.  This move stretches the stomach region of the body, adding additional pressure and strain to the already injured Nic Totopoulous.  So in conclusion, the combination of a striking blow to the stomach and the stretching of that injury have caused a number of injuries that will not allow him to compete this Sunday.  Now if Kevin Cosmos had decided to give the belt back to Nic Totopoulous, Nic Totopoulous would have gone against my word to not wrestle, and would put himself in a life threatening situation.  What I recommend for Nic Totopoulous is to rest and recover from the injury.  I promise that I will do whatever I can to bring him back to top form as soon as possible so that all of his fans can enjoy watching him compete.

Thank you Dr. James Wilson.  You see here people, that is exactly what I have been saying all along.  I am in no shape to be wrestling.  My injuries are much too severe for me to enter the ring this Sunday night.  I am sorry to all of my loving and adoring, but I must follow doctor’s orders this time because my life will be put at risk.  I thank all of you for understanding, and for your support.

[All of a sudden, President Shawn Freeman enters the room.  With him is a man in a suit carrying a briefcase.  Shawn seems a little upset, but at the same time pleased with himself.]

Freeman – Alright Nic, I know your little plan here.

What plan?

The one to get out of the match this Sunday, or to get your belt back.  Whichever the case, I know the truth and you can’t fool anyone any longer.

What do you mean fool?  This is the truth.  I swear to myself that it is.

Sure thing Nic.  When I heard that Cosmos wasn’t going to give you your belt back, I decided to take matters into my own hands.  I was going to find a way to make you wrestle on Sunday to defend your title.  That is exactly what I have done.

What do you mean?  The doctor right here said that I was unable to compete.

That man said you were unable to compete.  But I have here the doctor that actually took those tests for you.

Oh…  Do you really?

Yes I do.  He says that you have nothing but bruised ribs.  He says that it’s even a mild case too, that you aren’t that bad at all.

Ha ha, is that so?

Yes it is.  Furthermore, I recognize that man that you wanted to play doctor.

You give that such a homosexual connotation, not that there is anything wrong with being gay.  I’m not saying that I’m gay…

Shut up and listen!  That isn’t any Dr. James Wilson, that’s just one of our camera men, it’s Joe.

I’m not just a cameraman, I play a doctor on TV.

Not anymore you don’t.  Get out of here Joe and get behind a camera.

Yes sir.

And take off that stupid fake mustache.

Yes sir.

Now Nic, that was quite the stunt you pulled, and you almost managed to get away with it too.  But while I’m president of the UWA you won’t be able to get away with any of that crap.

I’m telling you Shawn, that guy isn’t the right guy.  I really am too hurt to wrestle, unless Cosmos gives me my belt back.

It’s too late Nic, I’ve already decided.  It will be the challenger Kevin Cosmos versus the UWA Undisputed Champion of the World, Nic Totopoulous.  And Nic, if you are so injured, go out there and act like God and tough it out.  God wouldn’t back down from a challenge.  Not only that, but he wouldn’t get hurt either, nor would he lose.  So go out there and play God and get the win.

I am God myself damnit!

Prove it on Sunday.  See ya, Champ.

Ya, whatever.  I’ll show you who’s God…

[Shawn Freeman and the doctor exit the room.]

…jerk.  Man, that sucks.  I had it all worked out too.  It was going to be perfect.  I was going to get my belt back and then beat Cosmos on Sunday.  Stupid Shawn Freeman had to get in the way.  He had to foil my plans.  Well, I guess I’m just going to have to get back to business this Sunday.  But first…

[Totopoulous begins to walk quickly and he exits the room.  He walks down the hall in the direction that Joe the cameraman left the room.  He sees Joe up ahead about to enter a room.  Totopoulous speeds up to a run.  The cameraman hears him and turns around as Totopoulous hits him in the face with his forearms.  The cameraman falls to the floor.  Totopoulous picks him up and throws him head first into the wall.]

That’ll learn ya.  Man, you said that it was the perfect disguise.  It’s too bad it wasn’t, or else you might not be in this mess right now, ass!

[Totopoulous spits on the cameraman.  He hears people running down the hall.]

Voice around the corner – He went down there…

[Totopoulous hears the foots steps and takes off down the hall running.  The scene fades as five security guards run down the hall chasing Totopoulous.]
