[Kick Start my heart by Motley Crue hits the speakers.  The sold out TNT Wrestling audience begins to jump to their feet and boo.  The former two time TNT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, Nic Totopoulous,  walks out from behind the curtain and out on to the stage.  He looks somewhat lost without the World Title around his waist.  He stops at the top of the stage for a moment, then proceeds to walk down the ramp and out to the ring.

Totopoulous walks around to the opposite side of the ring.  He is handed a microphone from one of the members of the TNT Wrestling ring crew.  He climbs up the steps, through the ropes and into the ring.  As he walks to the middle of the ring he pauses for a moment.  Then the music stops.  He puts the microphone to his mouth, and begins to address the TNT Wrestling fans in attendance.]

It's nice to see that everyone is out tonight.  It's nice to see that all of you are having a good time.  You're all participating in the show, and that's what you're all here for.  You're all here to have a great time.  You paid your hard earned money, and we, the wrestlers, put on one hell of a show for all of you.

[The audience begins a light cheer.]

Well, that's the way it's supposed to be anyway.  I see a lot of the guys backstage come out here.  Yes, they do bust their asses.  Yes they do try very hard.  But do they really put on one hell of a show?  Do they really give you your money's worth?  Don't get me wrong, they try hard, but do they really get it done?

There are only a few men in this industry that can get the job done.  There are guy's like myself, like Jonny Fly, like Mark Vincent, like Big Boss.  Then there are guys from the past that can get it done.  Guys like Mirror, like Michael Edwards, and like Gravedigger.  Now what do all of these men have in common?  I have beaten them all, all except one.  That one is Gravedigger.  Or should I call him Blader Skum?  Yes Blader Skum, you are the one big name in this industry I have not beaten.  Yes Blader Skum, it has eaten me up inside.  Yes Blader Skum, this is the one big thing I want to do before I retire.  Before I can retire as the greatest wrestler of all time, I need to be everyone who is considered the best of all time.  In some circles Blader Skum, you are the best.  Not just the best pound for pound, but the very best of all time.  In other circles it would be Jonny Fly.  And in most circles, it would be me, Nic Totopoulous.  But for me to be able to convince the rest of the world, for me to convince everyone in those other circles that I am the best I need to beat you.

[Totopoulous paces back and forth for a moment.]

Blader Skum, we have had quite a history.  You outlined it very accurately as well.  When I first joined TNT Wrestling, I did keep somewhat of a low profile.  People knew who I was, but no one saw me as a significant threat.  I won the U.S. Title twice, and I was starting to make a name for myself.  You Blader Skum, you didn't take me seriously enough though.  Then out of no where I was the number on contender for the World Title.  Then next thing you knew, I was your next opponent Blader Skum, and you didn't know what to do.  You hadn't been watching me, you weren't ready for me.  I could see it in your eyes, you had no idea what you were up against, and that worried you.  I was set to take that title away from you.  You dominated TNT Wrestling for so long, it was now my time, my turn take the reigns in TNT Wrestling.  To my dismay though, the day before my title shot, my victory for the title, TNT Wrestling was closed.  There was one thing you were wrong about though.  They didn't tell me that it was closed.  They didn't tell me that my title shot was off.  I arrived at the arena all on my own.  I walked inside.  I couldn't figure out where everyone was.  Then someone told me.  A security guard told me what happened.  He told me the show was off.  Right away I called Marcel to find out what was going on.  He told me TNT Wrestling was closed.  That is how the story went Blader.

Then of course we all know how the story goes.  You left for the UWA, and I came along not long after.  You told me how great it was, so I came by to  check it out.  Right away I became the Television Champion.  I held it for two months before I tossed it in the garbage.  It wasn't worth my time to have such a belt.  I needed to move on to bigger and better things.  Then I joined up with Blader Skum.  He had a name to himself, and I was still building momentum.  If I teamed up with him, it would have given me some notoriety.  So I joined with him.  We were good friends at the time, and very quickly I was becoming one of the big names in the UWA.  I won the United States Championship, and P.U.N.K.S. was as strong as ever.  Myself, Stonehart and Blader Skum were dominating the UWA, and I was stealing the spotlight.  Everyone told me that I was the star of the group.  Everyone told me that I should disassociate myself from Blader Skum because he was holding me back.  I wasn't certain whether I was being held back or not.  But during that time I held the U.S. Title twice.  I was the second person to ever do that.  But I knew that my time with P.U.N.K.S. was just about over.  Stonehart retired, our run fighting for the TNT Wrestling name was just about through, and I saw no need for him any longer.

[Totopoulous takes a few steps back, then continues.]

What I did was I broke my professional ties with Blader Skum.  He finished his career in the UWA and I was left to take the reigns and lead the UWA into a new generation.  I wrestled by myself and I rose to stardom.  Blader and I remained friends, and I was the UWA Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion.  Things were going great for me, and Blader was off making a new name for himself.  He took the name of a good friend of his, and man that I knew.  I didn't know him well, but I knew him well enough to miss him.  He took the name Gravedigger.  He was busy helping Marcel get TNT Wrestling up and running.  Not long after I lost the UWA Undisputed Championship, and I was on my way back to my one and only true home.  I was back in TNT Wrestling.

Like Blader Skum said, I was expected to be the first TNT Wrestling champion of this new generation, but no one expected me to hold the title for five months.  That is a feat that no other man has ever accomplished.  During that time though, Gravedigger turned on me.  He turned on me, and I'll never forget it.  We were friends, and now we are enemies because of you.  You found a new protege.  You have to know thought, that I am the best wrestler you will ever, and have ever teamed up with.  Then I later enjoyed a two month run as champion, the run that ended only a few weeks ago at the hands of Jonny Fly.  I'm sure that Fly will make a great champion, while he holds the title.  Unfortunately for him, I'll still be around after this match Fly.  But I will say this, I will put a stipulation for myself on this match.  If I lose this match, I will retire myself.  So Fly, expect the best from me after I beat Blader Skum.  Expect me to be back for my title.  It might be this month, or it might be three months from now, but I will be back, that is a promise.

And Blader Skum, you've been out of the game for months now.  I am still as great as I have ever been, and you are rusty.  I'm sure you've still got a few tricks up your sleeve, but I'm still in game shape, you are not.  As great of shape you ever get into Blader, you'll never be ready for this match.  You said that this was a big mistake for me.  I think it's a mistake for you.  You said that you will put me in my place.  You said that my legacy would be secure if I didn't take this match.  The truth is, my legacy will be secure after this match, when I beat you.  It will be yours that suffers.  You will simply be remembered as the man that lost to the greatest of all time, Nic Totopoulous.  You will be viewed as nothing but a shell of your former self.  People always remember that last thing you've ever done as a wrestler, and all they'll remember is that I beat you.  That's all.  Not that you were a TNT Wrestling World Champion.  Not that you were a UWA Undisputed Champion, just that you were one of the many to fall to the hands of Nic Totopoulous.

[Totopoulous steps forward and looks straight into the camera.]

Blader Skum, you have cemented your legacy.  Why you would risk it I do not know.  I know one thing for certain though.  That is that I will be viewed as the best of all time.  I will be viewed as the man that has beaten them all.  I will be viewed as the man ruled the industry.  Blader Skum, I'll see you in the ring!

[Totopoulous drops the microphone as Kick Start my Heart by Motley Crue hits the speakers.  He walks over to the ropes and gives a cocky grin out to the crowd.  He climbs through the ropes, down the steps and out of the ring.  He walks up the ramp as the audience boos him.  They throw garbage at him as he makes his way through the curtain and backstage.  The music stops and the show continues.]
